[Something happens that leaves the telecasters with winces like sad news. At some point in the late hours of night, the bodies of a dozen people were found on main street. Three-fourths were police(despite their badges and handguns missing) while the rest are civilians being invested for alleged ties to the crime families in Gotham. The bodies were hung upside down from the light posts, but no witnesses have come forward with testimonies yet. Although details of the case are being completely withheld, one fact has been impossible to keep a secret. Each corpse had black stage makeup painted across their eyes like a pointed bat mask. Spray paint covered a sewer grate in the middle of the street. It only read Want to hang out?]

[At the facility in the woods, after this, there is a small change. Directly across from one of the cameras left by SHIELD, above a pool of blood and chemicals where one of the bodies was, a piece of paper has been left on the ground. If the image is analyzed carefully, one can make out a phone number on it with a European code.

No one appears on camera. The feed goes dead at 13:44, and returns at 13:45, and the piece of paper is simply there. It shows only intermittently, when the facility's lights flicker and strobe to illuminate the print, and it seems so ordinary in the chaotic setting that only a close eye would spot it. Not a single one of the other cameras catch the person who put it there, and they all remain live for that dead minute.]
