[And, there's a video. A young, stupid looking man in Alliance armor starts bumping his chest against a huge krogan. He looks small compared to the giant lizard, despite the muscles. The solider yells: "If an injury has to be done to a man it should be so severe that his vengeance need not be feared! You better kill me if you don't want to die!" The krogan laughs. Eddie calls out from behind the camera: "Don't do anything I can't goddamned medi-gel." The krogan grins, well as much as a giant lizard can and then headbutts the soldier. The man? Goes flying. The whole bar bursts into laughter. Eddie turns the camera and the soldier is rolling around on the floor apologizing. "You'll be fiiine." Eddie says and the video cuts off as his omni-tool lights up.]

[She didn't have much time, but she wanted to see him. She had almost put it off until she came back from the island, but something clicked, and she needed to see her big brother. The guilt waged in her head for only a moment before she decided fuck it, and if Wonder Woman had to leave without her or wait another hour? So damn what. Her big brother was in the hospital for just as long as she'd been, and he still was, and she wanted to see him before she spent a week among the Amazons. So she spent the early morning with Eddie, holding each other in bed for as long as humanly possible (or, really, as late as they could. They could spend lifetimes in bed together and not have enough.), before getting up and getting ready for the island.

Stephanie arrived just as visiting hours again, suitcase in one hand and coffees in the other. (Away, in the bag on her shoulder, were some donuts from she and Eddie's favorite place in Old Gotham.) She went immediately to the nurses' station, told them who she was meant to see, and followed the nurse as she went to Dick's room. And when the nurse knocked on the door and opened it to ask Dick if he wanted a visitor, Stephanie smiled over her shoulder with a bright, happy smile. Something he probably hadn't seen in ages, and probably since he'd seen her with this older face.]

We drank tea together, and discussed love.

As you all might have seen, Tony pulled through the surgery. Unfortunately not all of it could be taken out this time around. They're going to need to try again in a few weeks. He's stable. Physical recovery is a long process, especially since they'll have to again, so he won't really be up and about as much.
