In my coffee-deprived state this morning, I ripped the mailing label off the box before coming up and couldn't find it when I went back downstairs after I realized this was definitely not an unexpected holiday gift. The packing invoice was also unhelpful, but kudos to the company for maintaining the anonymity.

You ever have a nightmare so awful you wake up immediately needing several drinks? Because that's me this morning. If you need me today, I'll be at the nearest brunch spot drowning myself in Bloody Mary's and bottomless mimosas.

Thoughts and prayers to all the big city hot shots about to lose their fiancés to the good old boys back home who love Christmas and work in a Christmas tree lot/Christmas themed park/Christmas lodge.

Tis the season to find Allison in leggings and a comfy sweater with a mug of cocoa and these absolutely horrific formulaic movies. I'm proud to say I never did one, but I also kind of wish I'd done one.

As much as I enjoyed my new feline friends, it's nice to have my network back in place. I hardly knew anything that was going on during this little adventure.

I thought I'd take a stroll today, check in with some of my cats. If Edwin anyone would care to join me, I wouldn't object to the company.

This is probably the strangest thing to happen to me since the sword fight with Maximus. Which sounds perfectly normal until you find out that Maximus is a horse.

Right... there's some freaky thing going on with the animals here. I definitely listened to all of that.

Look. Anyone who knows me knows I'm always up for a spontaneous trip, but the fact that I managed to wind up here again seems weird as fuck and next to impossible.

I wanted to check in and see how you're all doing with this nightmare stuff that's going on. I hope you're all doing ok.

Hey guys! Eliot's birthday is only six weeks away and we need to start planning what we're gonna do for that. I know schedules can get full pretty quickly so I wanted to get this started early.

I've narrowed the days for a Magicians get-together down to the 16th or the 20th, so Saturday or Wednesday before his birthday to leave the weekend of his birthday free for just us.

Let me know which of the days will work best for everyone and if anyone has already started planning anything (I'm looking at you fellow Q & Margo LOL).

Today's tip:

When you need to bury "something", call in an anonymous tip on where you buried it. They'll go looking for it and now you've got a hole you didn't have to dig in a spot they're not going to look again.
