A little last minute, but I know people are excited about being able to fly and also Valentine's Day is this weekend, and that's a big deal.

But! Like Samirah mentioned, Ramadan starts on the 17th, but it also happens to be Mardi Gras AND the day that the Lunar New Year is being observed. So we were talking about having a Mardi Gras party, but then I had a thought on the way home today.

What if we do an international potluck to celebrate everything all at once?

I am still looking for someone who knows how to make really good gumbo and king cake, though!

If you're planning on Valentine's Day treats for that special someone, tonight is your last chance to get an order in. Cake orders are already closed but cookies, brownies, etc are still doable and deliveries are done Saturday morning. Cake pops are buy half a dozen, get half a dozen right now, too.

But Sunday after 12, your girl is CLOSED. I've got my own Valentine's to celebrate and I've got decades of a future in the restaurant industry to give up my holidays!

No wings on me yet, but I'm seeing a powerful need for some wardrobe updates for those of you afflicted. I've got some designs I'm still toying around with, many of which involve tunic cuts and wrap around ties.

Hit me up if you want to try a couple out or want me to take a stab at altering your tops so you can stay decent when you're out there winging around this fair city of ours.

Just as an fyi to friends & family, Ramadan starts this month. So come sundown on February 17, I will be fasting from sunup to sundown. Till March 18 or 19 or so, depending on when the moonand is sighted.

Okay, so I don't know who thought doing classes through a computer was a good idea - and yes I know the weather sucks - but science class cannot be done properly through a screen. It is something that must be experienced, hands on. Doing science through a screen doesn't work and it's hard to do experiments at home.

We had snow days back home, or... actually... we didn't have that many. I think it had something to do with the fact that the town was so small and the land was flat enough that plows were able to do their jobs quick. But seriously, how long until I can be back in science in person?

I'm fine, but trying to dig myself out of a snowbank was no fun. Currently thawing out on the couch, but the Wasp suit is grounded until I can find a workaround for these extreme temperatures.

I'm officially signed up for college classes at San Francisco State for the spring semester. I wasn't even sure if I was going to continue with college here, but hey, I might as well, right?

I'm not sure if I'm going to continue with the business route here, so I'm undeclared for now. Though I am going to see if there's an archery team. I also signed up to learn ASL. Never hurts to pick up new skills, right?

A stray cat followed me home and now it's made a home in my sweaters.

After this week, there's only one week left of class. Then we have a week that EVERYONE IS CALLING HELL WEEK!!!!!!!! to study and write and do all the things for finals. Then finals.

I'm freaking out. Completely freaking out. Why do they all think they're the only class I have?! I have so much to do. I'm never gonna get it all done and I'm going to forget everything I learned before taking the finals. And how am I supposed to write two 20 page papers?!

Alright, I’ve slept on it. You know moving is really exhausting, and I’d kind of just got done moving into a place. Or I thought I was, before getting zapped here yesterday. But this time the moving didn’t come with any of my stuff or my cat, so I’m pretty annoyed about that.

Molly and I went to get ice cream as a date like we usually do and we were waiting at the bus stop to take the bus home again like we usually do and then some guy come up to us and he was like "I found two of them" and like we were the only two people at the bus stop so I think he was talking about us but I have no idea who he is but he seemed to know who me and Molly are and that was not cool but he wasn't very friendly and he was talking to other people, but I didn't see them and I didn't want to get into a fight or let Molly get into a fight so I grabbed her and I ran as fast as I could but they have these traps for fast runners and it was like a trip wire or something and it knocked me off balance and I feel real hard and my arm really hurts and there is probably more of them throughout the city and I couldn't really pick up Molly anymore so we couldn't run but they were still looking for us so we tried to go around the long way and get back to the building but we got outside of the city and now we can't get back into the city and we don't really have any money for a hotel or nothing and I also don't know if hotels will let teenagers buy rooms

You can call it the Peter Tingle, you can call it Spidey Senses, you can call it just plain paranoia, but someone's been tailing me the whole way home.

They're not stupid, he's keeping his distance. Like...literally just out of reach of webbing distance. But I'm also not stupid and he's literally there any time I turn around.

This is getting old. I don't know what they've got going on but after what happened to the pack, it's not cute or funny.

So the question is - what do we do? Should I try confronting them? Or someone with slightly more tact, maybe? Tony can tell you, me interrogating people doesn't usually go well.

Well, this is... unexpected. It seems one can't get back across the bay into the city tonight? Came to Berkeley today to teach & work at the museum here and now.... Not sure how I'm supposed to get to work tomorrow? the ride share cost to go around... It's not the first time I've slept in my office and I'm sure it won't be the last.
