Chris and I tried to go to the store last night and were attacked on our way back. They were after me, but Chris pushed me away. He was shot, but he's okay.

I do not wish to cause alarm, but it should be known that there was an attack last night on some of the wolves.

While I have no information on who they were or why they were there, I did gather an immense feeling of anger and panic from them as they retreated. One of them may also have some broken bones. Do with that information as you will.

Mrs. Kovacs from floor 7 (Emilia, if you're friendly) wanted me to tell/remind everyone that her whist group is starting up next Thursday night at 7 PM in the common area.

Snacks and drinks are potluck style. Danae and Roderick from 12 are bringing finger sandwiches, and Rorie from 9 said they'd try their hand at a Victoria sponge cake. Edwardian dress is encouraged, but not required.

Don't worry if you don't know the rules. Apparently it's as much about the card game as it is catching up on building gossip. Who's in?

I've gone down a rabbit hole of youtube science. It's an entire series about space that's meant to help you sleep. Only problem is now I'm interested and not sleeping at all. Sleepy science, I see what you're doing there but it's having the opposite effect.

Here's a starter schedule.
Once every two weeks (unless you have something to do of course) on the weekend. What works best for people weekend day wise?
Also here are some first selection options:
Japanese Manga Akira-a classic.
Mirai Nikki is a more psychological one but could turn out interesting discussion.
Fruits Basket a easy read. A story about humans that can transform into zodiac animals.

Novels:
Red Rising a dystopian sci-fi novel.
Thursday Murder Club-is as it sounds. A murder mystery.
And Then There Were None Agatha Christie novel.
Enigma of Room 622.


These are the suggested list of books. We could read the same ones this time. Then next time we could change it up and end up picking a theme of books. Keep it fresh. I'm thinking one of the manga genre and one of the novels to start.

I don't really know what to do now. I'm glad I had her while I did, but it still doesn't feel like enough. Before being here I didn't even know she was possible and now? Now living without her doesn't really feel possible either.

If anyone hears a smoke alarm going off on the 17th floor, ignore it. I've just removed the batteries and the offending pot of water and it won't be going off again anytime soon.

I'm going to the store. Is there anything specific you like to eat or drink? Bonus points if it's something microwavable, but I'll figure something out if it's not.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you're an automechanic, right? I heard something about you owning a garage.

I have been here long enough to see times like these, where a larger group arrives or returns all at once. It does not make anything easier, it will likely never get any more easy to deal with when we lose loved ones.

But now is a time for support. Ask for it, provide it, whatever you need or are able to do. Check on your neighbors, "our people" or otherwise. The smallest offering can make a world of difference in times like these. We are in this together.

Bruce is here. I told him about us and he didn't seem to stick on your mutant ("meta") status like I feared he would. I'm taking this as a win. Gotham is not friendly, Batman wise, usually so I don't know. Maybe because this isn't "his city"? But I'm taking this as a win.

Also, if I disappear for a bit it's not anything you've done or not done. I need to see how everything plays out. B asked for a day. I told the others to give him that.

Spent most of the day off catching up on comics I'd gotten from new comic day this week. (they're pretty obscure ones...) Realized probably no one or next to no one has read most of these titles. No one to talk to about them. Is there interest for a book club of sorts? Be it comics or novels or both?

I have been working on it all week and THE DICK GRAYSON says that we are like brothers and he and his brothers have been helping me do all sorts of cool tricks

and some people here can fly which is really cool cause Conner took me flying.
