Can't say I expected to end up in San Francisco randomly.

I am glad we are no longer on that ship, but I’m very confusified about these little colorful eggs I’m coming across. Can anyone make sense of why they’ve appeared? Is this part of that Easter I heard about recently?

Did you know that polar bears are one of very few animals that see humans as prey? I didn't, but now I do.

Not that I anticipate we'll be terribly missed since we are awake when most of you are not, but Louis and I are heading home to New Orleans to spend Christmas with Claudia and then the three of us will all have returned before you've even noticed we're gone.

The whole idea of Christmas is kind of a new concept for me, but there isn't exactly a shortage of things to do around here for the holiday, is there?

I went to a concert last night where they played something called Handel's Messiah, the zoo over in Oakland has a night time light exhibit right now, a ticket to see The Nutcracker, and today I went to a Christmas fair that's meant to look like something out of a Charles Dickens novel. Which I guess is cool if you're into the whole poor Victorian England vibe.

What other things is everyone checking out for the season? I hear ice skating is popular this time of year and I've never done that, either.
