Public announcement on the U.S.S. Enterprise / Public Network Post:

Attention, all personnel. This is Captain Christopher Pike. We find ourselves in a unique situation here. We’ve encountered some sort of anomaly. Roughly half of the crew of the Enterprise have disappeared. Simultaneously, residents of San Francisco have suddenly found themselves here. Let me be the first to welcome you to the U.S.S. Enterprise. I imagine everyone has a lot of questions, so let me attempt to answer them.

Or. You know. Is anyone thinking about getting rid of their coffee table? I could give it a good home where it's only a little likely to end up needing a table runner.

I made jokes about having never been in one of those cheesy Christmas movies and then I actually was sort of in one and don't think the irony is lost on me.

It did sort of make me miss acting, though. I think I might look into community theater around here. Something I can do on my own merit and not dubiously ethical means.

Today has been a productive day. Managed to get myself a job at Ocean View stables just outside the city. They do therapeutic encounters, regular lessons, rides on the beach, summer camps, and cowboy cookouts. So I'll be leading rides, teaching riding lessons, and cooking for their monthly cookouts. If you're interested in any of those, let me know, I can definitely get you a discount.


As for the cereal - managed to make several types of cereal bars (I might have bought all the marshmallows at the grocery store). Decided to use some of them to build a model of the Enterprise - my ship from home, but there's plenty extra if folks want some cereal bars.

Well, some might say never do things by half. Can't say I expected to find myself 200 years in the past in San Francisco, but here we are.
