Can we talk about the fact I'm graduating college in a few months? I'm so excited.

Funny story from last week (forgot to share), but imagine the pandemonium of a courtroom full of people suddenly spouting wings in the middle of a cross-examination.

Fortunately, it only lasted a couple of minutes for most of us, but they were a wild few moments. Apparently the judge had blue bird wings. Kind of makes me wish I could make out colors again.

Still won the case, by the way.

In other news, the office of Walters & Murdock, Attorneys at Law officially opens its doors tomorrow.

I don't think I'm getting wings. It feels a little pointed. Like, "you get to do ghost things at night, you don't get to fly, too" kind of pointed.

Even the new guy in my English class, who started school last Wednesday, showed up at school on Friday with badass, punk rock dragon wings.

Yes, I'm being petulant about it. No, I don't care that I am. I'm this close to stomping my foot and demanding a lollie as a consolation prize.

...Also the dog does I found during the ice does seem to have an owner. That owner wants him back. :/ I don't love today. He's going to come get him in an hour.

Back in my day, if the weather was too bad for anyone to get to work or school, it was all cancelled.

Now everything can be done online. Point for the convenience, but negative points for sitting in front of a computer all day.

I understand that people do that for a living, but that is not what my future holds.

Though, I have been learning about field medicine, and seem to have picked that up these last few weeks.

Heat visioning the ice only does so much but if anyone's patrolling still and needs it, just yell for me. Helped this dog out that looked like a Popsicle and now it won't stop following me around.

Okay. So, still wrapping my head around interdimensional travel being possible. I mean, there've definitely been theories and discussions of some sort of multiverse being possible, but there hasn't been any actual evidence or anything.

It's pretty cool, actually. And that there are people with actual magic and superpowers here? Even cooler. I have so many questions.

Anyway, I should definitely introduce myself. My name is Lahela Kamealoha, I'm sixteen years old, and I'm a doctor. So the whole school thing is definitely throwing me a bit. Though it might be fun to see how fast I can get through high school this time. But I do not want to go through med school all over again. Not that it wasn't fun the first time, just don't really feel like starting from the bottom again.

Also, was definitely not prepared for the weather. I'm from Hawaii, so definitely not accustomed to the cold. Or ice.

Hey there! I was told that you were going to be my guardian while I'm here. I just want to say thanks, I can guess that being saddled with a teenager that you don't know definitely isn't an ideal circumstance.

Putting the Christmas tree up was a little sad this year... I mean for one, I had to go buy a tree, but when I was decorating it I realized that I didn't have any of our special ornaments, the ones that Willa Wynonna and I made growing up. You know the tacky little kid ones that are the absolute best thing on the tree! So, I thought, maybe we could have a grown-up Christmas ornament crafting time?

I'm absolutely volunteering my apartment for this (sorry roomie! unless you want to make an ornament???) and I was thinking maybe this Saturday evening? I'll get supplies if I can get a rough idea of how many people would like to come be creative with me! Oo! And I'll make eggnog. Alcoholic for the grown ups, and a sober version for littles and people that don't drink.

The thing I'm most thankful for this year is that at Halloween I asked the most beautiful, brilliant, and intelligent woman in the world to marry me. And I'm even MORE thankful that Dee said yes!

Yes, it's a little earlier than we initially planned but this place is chaotic at best and it felt like the time to do the asking.

No, we haven't set a date, everything is still very much in the planning stage and we might do the long engagement thing cause, you know, still in school and all and we're going to probably play it by ear.

Who am I hosting for Thanksgiving this year?

For those still in the city...

Matt and I have been focusing on the noise/sonic disruptor shit on our patrols. It's stronger in some places than others. We've been trying to pinpoint it and there's a few target areas.

Given how it's affecting folks, pretty sure it's some type of sonic disruptor device. [insert list of types of devices and suggested means of disabling/destructing them]


Here's where we need help:

The goal is to have several synchronized strike teams hit all possible locations tonight (28th-29th overnight) and take out the evil vuvuzelas.

So, any volunteers? (Those of you under 18 - get permission from your guardian before signing up .)


Full disclosure, this is not a zero-risk operation. We'll need all types of skills - getaway drivers, fighters, tech folks, comms, explosives... so if you're in, we can find you a job.


[OOC: anyone who wants their char to be involved can volunteer, feel free to make up teams, talk about specific sonic devices etc. I'm doing some handwaving here. There will be as many areas to hit as we have 'strike teams'. Coulson's thinking 2-3 people per team. No one goes solo.

Thanks to everyone who helped out last night. It looks like we were successful knocking out the noise disruptors that were causing so many problems for our folks. It looks like things have calmed down significantly.

Now that Hardison's secured the network, I have a request.

Audio, video—anything you can. Start compiling everything you've seen, heard, or documented since the beginning and send it to me. I'm starting to put together a timeline, and all of it will help. We call this the "discovery phase".

The Liaison Office may have let us down, but that doesn't mean we can't go after the people behind this.

I got my girls out of the city, but my suit keeps hitting critical failure as I try to fly over the city. All other attempts to regain entry have been unsuccessful.

If they're organized. We need to get organized.

I can help manage people and supplies outside of the town, I just need to know who is out here and where you are. At the very least I can make sure the people out here are taken care of and try to get supplies through the inside maybe.

You can call it the Peter Tingle, you can call it Spidey Senses, you can call it just plain paranoia, but someone's been tailing me the whole way home.

They're not stupid, he's keeping his distance. Like...literally just out of reach of webbing distance. But I'm also not stupid and he's literally there any time I turn around.

This is getting old. I don't know what they've got going on but after what happened to the pack, it's not cute or funny.

So the question is - what do we do? Should I try confronting them? Or someone with slightly more tact, maybe? Tony can tell you, me interrogating people doesn't usually go well.
