Amidst the bustle of the city, a quaint little shop lurked. Halfway into an alley, the façade was faded and the windows dusty, but the door was propped partway open by a little stone statue of a lizard, its eyes faceted glass gems. Definitely just glass gems. What sort of shopkeeper would be foolish enough to use actual gemstones in a doorstop? A faded sign hung over the door, proclaiming it to be Caerwyn's Curiosities.
(Had that shop always been there?)
Today, the stillness of the stoop was disturbed by the presence of a young woman. Dressed in folksy clothes - cottagecore, probably, if you were up to date on the latest trends - and with ink spotting her fingers, she wore a worried expression, and as soon as someone came within polite shouting distance, they got hailed.
"Excuse me! Excuse me, please, do you have a minute? I really need some help. My boss is in trouble in there!"
[ooc: Solo runs or group runs available. Don't worry if someone else has started one; I can run multiple simultaneously. Who knows how many troubles this store has?
For group runs, please let me know in the first comment that you want multiple people involved so that everyone has a chance to tag in before I reply. It'll operate like a round robin; everyone gets a turn and then I'll reply to move the narrative along.]
