Would anyone be interested in maybe staging a brand new musical that made me pass my independent study last year with flying colors but might need more work and workshopping before it's ready ready?

It's kinda weird how the sun doesn't affect us vamps the same way on this ship as it does on Earth... I've been half-expecting to get the bleeds at some point but nope... nothing.

While I mostly don't mind our little space adventure thus far, I do hope the replicator is better at replicating human food than it is human blood. It suffices, but barely.

I'm adding "space lawyer" to my resume. Does anyone need my services? ;)

Hey, Les... I know we didn't really get to talk much when I first got here but thanks for looking out for me. It's been kinda weird getting used to all of this vampire stuff but having you around makes Bill not being here a little easier.

Before I got tugged on over here, my daddy was gonna try and get me set up with a job somewhere to keep me outta trouble. Like... waitressing at Merlotte's diner or something.

Anybody that might need a night-shift worker, around here? I don't know how to do a lot of things but... I can learn?

I made jokes about having never been in one of those cheesy Christmas movies and then I actually was sort of in one and don't think the irony is lost on me.

It did sort of make me miss acting, though. I think I might look into community theater around here. Something I can do on my own merit and not dubiously ethical means.

Every year this happens and every year I wonder the same thing: when will the nonsense that is daylight savings cease to be?

The adjustment to my sleep doesn't bother me so much as not being able to go outside earlier in the evenings now for the next several months.

Mardi Gras is fast approaching this upcoming Tuesday. Does anyone have plans or is that not something celebrated here?

So, this is the quaint little town my sister has decided to settle down in. It's cute enough for a wedding, though it's no Paris. What is there to do for fun around here?

This might be a weird ask in this day and age, but if anyone's got any clothes that need repairing or outfits they've been meaning to alter, I'd be happy to take them on. I could use some more practice, and I'm sure my family would like me to finally leave their closets alone.

Well, that was an interesting night, wasn't it? I should have realized something strange was happening when I woke up last night with cravings I haven't experienced in centuries. I can't imagine I'm going to be able to sleep at all after that, nor do I really care to, as it would seem my affliction with the sun has ceased to be a problem.

Not that I anticipate we'll be terribly missed since we are awake when most of you are not, but Louis and I are heading home to New Orleans to spend Christmas with Claudia and then the three of us will all have returned before you've even noticed we're gone.

Here is wishing you all a joyeux noël; may it be spent with those you love the most, as I am fortunate enough to.

While this may constitute something of a last minute invitation, I'd like to welcome my neighbors to a holiday open house on Saturday, from 6 PM to 8 PM. No food is necessary, but drinks and other libations are welcome.

I've done a fair amount of research into various holiday customs and traditional dishes, so I hope you'll join me for a bit of a tasting adventure ahead of your more familial obligations.
