Second Chances: the Network

Hey, Dad? Hope? Kamala? No one is kicking me out of the apartment even though I'm nearly 21, right? Seriously though, the fun part of moving is DECORATING. Can we go to IKEA or something?

So, I have a couple of thoughts I'd like to throw out there and see what sticks, if anyone's willing to humor me.

1. Blanket statement: I'm kind of a loner and pretty awful at making friends. It's a long-ish story, but it all stems from the fact that I can't be touched. With that said, I was wondering if anyone would like to go out and do something that doesn't involve a lot of people? I'd never been to this side of the country before, let alone in the year 2026, so I don't really know what there is to do.

2. Apparently I need a job. Thoughts? Suggestions? Never really had one of those, either. Unless you count working for a government agency that finds mutants

Anyone else get up for their morning run and lose the entire morning catching these new creatures around the city? Someone should stop me—or at least bring me coffee and a bagel.

So what we've learned was what the cupcakes were double-magic. The whole thing with the candle and then we got something! NEAT.

I've been through multiple dimensions. In every single one there was a Stephen Strange and a Christine Palmer. And in every one, he lost her.

I don't know why I expected this one to be any different.

I'm grateful America is back, I honestly am. But I can't say I ever saw myself doing the single dad thing. I guess I should pretend I'm glad there's only one of them now.

While I realize I could literally walk across the hallway and knock on your door, I figured I could reach out here first, just in case.

I hope nobody was super attached to David's shop because it's gone, too.

Edge of Glory will remain open for business. I just feel kind of on my own all over again and

I'm the big 2-0! What an amazing day so far! I've done so many rides and ate so much.

I have questions. I would rather these questions not be addressed in public view as it may compromise both myself, and this peacemaking force that I believe myself part of. There are secrets about, and I am in the need and want to get all of us on the same place.

How well do you think we could cobble together notes from our Time Heist adventures for a young genius to study because he misses school and is academically bored?

I know we're dealing with killer birds and all, but it is still Father's Day! Everyone wish the BEST dad ever, a happy Father's Day! I love you, Dad.

Everyone should really just be staying indoors as much as possible.

Do you have any idea how hard it is to be just a little guy when birds are the enemy?

Also relatedly:
If you see ants in your apartments please don't spray or otherwise do the whole pest control thing. They're trying to hide and I can't corral everyone where they can't be seen indoors. No one is asking for you to tip-toe everywhere, I just promise it's not an infestation.

Has anyone seen my wife? (Just kidding, I know where she is. I just wanted to use "my wife" in a sentence.)

I'm going to nail my finals. Suggestions on how to celebrate after?

List of things under consideration that are currently more important than this paper I’m supposed to be writing:

• Roey doesn’t enjoy flying
  
• Neither does Void
  
• This could be a pattern; as yet unverified
  
• Never tell someone born pre-90s that Muse is old
  
• Kitty should not check the cupboard for that mug she always uses until tomorrow - it’s absolutely still there and did not get broken
  
• There is no way I could ever be a lawyer
  
• I have to add a ranking system for ghosts now, because the bestiary obviously needs a more complicated index than it already has.
  

Pretty sure I'm for real banned from the coffee shop now.

No one was hurt, but there was an incident on the sidewalk with the bag of whole beans I was holding. They got the fire out pretty fast. No property damage to speak of, just some charred concrete. The police came by, but they ruled it an accident. Something with the packaging. Funny, the things people will come up with.

1. Being questioned by the Men in Black.
2. Waking up in strange places with no idea of how I got there.
3. Clowns

Things I do like:

1. Orange soda
2. My newly developed telekinesis. This is gonna make a lot of things so much easier.
3. The fact that the internet is forever, and we'll have proof of Eliot Spencer speaking and writing in rhyme for all of posterity.

The security around this place, the fire wall, all of it? Chef's kiss. Serious kudos to whoever built it and promises not to mess with your work, from one artist to another.

One of the most stressful things on TV is watching a baker's buttercream or mousse split, and there's no saving it. This is supposed to be downtime, and relaxing, but I'm tense watching a baking show.

Before you say anything, Yelena, I know I'm boring. It's fine. I'm embracing it. 😉🖤

At least I don't watch things like this and think I could do it. I'll leave the baking to the professionals.
