Second Chances: the Network

Putting the Christmas tree up was a little sad this year... I mean for one, I had to go buy a tree, but when I was decorating it I realized that I didn't have any of our special ornaments, the ones that Willa Wynonna and I made growing up. You know the tacky little kid ones that are the absolute best thing on the tree! So, I thought, maybe we could have a grown-up Christmas ornament crafting time?

I'm absolutely volunteering my apartment for this (sorry roomie! unless you want to make an ornament???) and I was thinking maybe this Saturday evening? I'll get supplies if I can get a rough idea of how many people would like to come be creative with me! Oo! And I'll make eggnog. Alcoholic for the grown ups, and a sober version for littles and people that don't drink.

Despite the insanity of last month, the clinic is still on schedule to open at the end of the month. Given what all we learned during....that, if any of our displaced residents need help sooner, we can take you. The plan is still no charge for the displaced.

WHO IS WAVERLY? (Hi, new roomie I guess and I'm en route)

Hi, yes, hello. I introduced myself when I first got here and you have all been so incredibly welcoming so I'm really hoping I'm not overstepping any bounds here. But see, the thing is, when I got here I had my wife here. And then after she was gone I still had my ward. But now she's gone too. And I have been trying my hardest not to map out every single attack or odd happenstance that I can track down on the network to try to triangulate a location right now because I'm sure that better and more experienced minds than mine are already on it. But it's driving me bonkers and I don't know how much more I can take without something to take my mind off of my sister feeling so helpless.

My name is Waverly Earp. I have a masters degree in ancient languages, for those of you who chose not to participate in two truths and a lie with me. And I'm half-angel, which I sort of keep under the rug but you know, desperate times. Will somebody please give me something to do so I can feel useful? Before I go off and make up something myself?

Has anyone seen Wynona? She wasn't around when I woke up yesterday and she didn't come home last night. Doesn't look like she slept here, but her stuff's still here. Is this one of those people disappearing and coming back in a few days.

I'd prefer that to anything else my brain is supplying as a possibility.

I GOT A JOB.

I wasn't worried about it because the government lady assured me they would help me find something, but I thought it might be in a shop or a barista instead of what I was doing at home. But no, they sent me on a few interviews with some different PR firms and I'm going to start on Monday with one that works with entertainment and sports brands.

Also, I just wanted to thank everyone for being so nice. I was really freaked out when I got here and you were all brilliant at answering my questions and helping me understand what the hell was going on.
