Who even sends letters anymore? What is this, the 90s? I've been sitting here glued to my phone and then they send me mail.

I barely remember my conversation with the guy at the door but somehow I've wound up with this little duck with blue hair following me around.

Maybe he can read my mail for me. Then again, if I don't open it they can't reject me.

I'm thinking about applying for this internship. But it's with the FBI, so they do pretty extensive background checks. Problem being I don't have a background here. Reggie said the government should just be able to fix that since that's what they do but for one I don't trust them and for two the FBI is part of the government.

I figured you two were my best shot at having some idea of what I could do about that.

Apologies to our dear neighbors in advance, but I have found a beautiful baby grand piano for purchase that I will be bringing home soon.

The piano is a passion of mine and I have missed playing greatly. If there is anything someone would like to hear specifically, please let me know. I am more than happy to provide entertainment during the evenings.

I just realized classes start back tomorrow. There should be some kind of "I just spent time in another reality" deferral. I want my summer back.

Kitty's birthday is on the 22nd. She'll probably say she doesn't expect anyone to do anything but she deserves something awesome so I want to organize something for Saturday night.

Maybe we can change things up and do it in the courtyard instead of on the roof for once. I can take care of the food I know she likes but if someone else could take care of decorations? And maybe there's a couple of musically inclined people who could help out with that?

I can already hear the arguments that time travel could be used for more fulfilling and altruistic purposes. But I have a rebuttal for all your arguments, before you go there.

I'm familiar enough with this infernal device to know how it works, but I've never been able to use it for myself before now. Apologies for my slowness to respond, if at all. This tiny typewriter is hardly usable.

A few things of note about me, since I was encouraged by Ms Smith to share:

I was trying to think of graduation gifts for my friends and you all did get something, I promise, but I came up with this idea and I don't know, maybe it's dumb, but the last one worked out pretty well so I made a new one and I didn't even get class credit for it so I'm hoping it's good.

So, going to the gym is cool or whatever. You know what else is cool? Seafood, vintage arcade games, and a chocolate factory. Do you wanna go down to Fisherman’s Wharf with me? Like, on a date? We might even get to say hi to the sea lions.

Whoever thought I’d get to use the phrase “stabbing yourself hurts more than being stabbed by someone else”? I’m taking that as a win, for science or something. Because that was not the most fun a person can have.
