In my coffee-deprived state this morning, I ripped the mailing label off the box before coming up and couldn't find it when I went back downstairs after I realized this was definitely not an unexpected holiday gift. The packing invoice was also unhelpful, but kudos to the company for maintaining the anonymity.

Just wanted to give a several days removed thanks to my apartment mates for keeping me from burning down the kitchen when we all seemed to be possessed of the need to make dinner. I appreciate you navigating me away from the stove and putting me on dish duty.

It was the wisest move all around.

I suppose finding myself in yet another new universe is one way to start a day, though everyone at the processing center seemed surprised that I wasn't exactly jarred by the whole ordeal. I take it that's not common place here? Would've been nice to finish whatever it was the Watcher

I need money to buy a vehicle, as I have been accepted into a duel enrollment at the community college and will need to have transportation to my classes.

I'm thinking about applying for this internship. But it's with the FBI, so they do pretty extensive background checks. Problem being I don't have a background here. Reggie said the government should just be able to fix that since that's what they do but for one I don't trust them and for two the FBI is part of the government.
