I know it might be too soon, but since everything seems to be over and law enforcement has rounded up a bunch of those hunters, who's got Halloween plans? Alexis, is the party still on?

Kind of feels like we need something good in our lives right now, so what's everyone's costume?

And just like that, the systems are mine.

I got the network. I got the phones. I got the CCTV around the apartments. I got what the liaisons had, and now it is only us. You can still call and text anyone outside of our network, but anything you post can't be found by any non-displaced resident.

If anyone, even friendlies, tries to hack this, they will get a nasty little something as a consequence. I have contingencies built into the system in the event of my departure, but as long as I'm here, Big Brother can't get any of our information.

And with that, I'm gonna go sleep for 36-48 hours. If you see me on here, don't judge. I'll at least be in bed.

Molly and I went to get ice cream as a date like we usually do and we were waiting at the bus stop to take the bus home again like we usually do and then some guy come up to us and he was like "I found two of them" and like we were the only two people at the bus stop so I think he was talking about us but I have no idea who he is but he seemed to know who me and Molly are and that was not cool but he wasn't very friendly and he was talking to other people, but I didn't see them and I didn't want to get into a fight or let Molly get into a fight so I grabbed her and I ran as fast as I could but they have these traps for fast runners and it was like a trip wire or something and it knocked me off balance and I feel real hard and my arm really hurts and there is probably more of them throughout the city and I couldn't really pick up Molly anymore so we couldn't run but they were still looking for us so we tried to go around the long way and get back to the building but we got outside of the city and now we can't get back into the city and we don't really have any money for a hotel or nothing and I also don't know if hotels will let teenagers buy rooms

This is a new sort of new. Wasn't quite expecting this, but guessing no one does.

What the kriff- Name's Poe. Got the rundown and a key. Guess this will teach me to have a moment of wanting a vacation. My wish got twisted when granted or something.

...I never thought I'd miss my stint at the Academy. At least that was more interesting than this school thing. I am not made to sit still for so many hours a day.

Also, I feel like I need to study pop culture to even get references people are making.

Overall though? This place isn't too bad.

Promised road trip over Labor Day Weekend?

Well, I certainly did not expect to find myself in San Francisco. Although judging from the fact that there are no dinosaurs roaming around the city, this does not seem to be my San Francisco. Not that San Francisco is mine, I wouldn't presume to suggest that. Er, more this is not the San Francisco from my world.

Er, sorry, this is all just a lot to take in, is all. I was just on Île Saint-Hubert, not that I want to go back there, so this is all just a bit of a shock. Although if we were able to recreate a perverse version of dinosaurs, I should not be surprised at the possibility of universe like ours existing.


Oh, I'm doing this all backwards. I'm Henry Loomis, Dr. Henry Loomis, although I don't know if there's a need for paleontologists here, so maybe the Dr. is irrelevant. I think I need a big cup or coffee or tea. Or maybe something stronger.

... Yeah I'm not sticking around for whatever this is. Who wants to go for a joyride?

I almost just started heading to the old apartments, too, so that's how screwy everything is right now.

Um. Happy 4th of July, I guess.

It is strange, seeing the date and realizing that I have been here nearly a year already. It is the longest I have lived outside of New Orleans since I moved there in 1910. And in a surprising turn of events, it would seem most of you have not grown too annoyed with me or weary of my being here.

While I know there are many festivities already happening this weekend, I would like to celebrate my time here, though I am unsure how. An evening gathering in the outdoor commons on the 5th floor, perhaps?

It isn't that I'm not grateful for how much Clint cares and all, and I do love him a lot. And Klaus, too, he's been a really great step-dad type.

But I really, really hate how many major moments my actual Dad and Mom are missing out on. And like...it's been years now. I have to face up to the fact that they're just not coming. Or Cooper or Nate, for that matter. They missed prom, they're missing graduation, they won't see me open a business or go to college, they haven't gotten to meet Ben and Molly and America and Kamala and all of you and it just kind of sucks if I think about it for too long.

I'll probably regret writing all of this out in approximately ten minutes but I just keep thinking it and, well, yeah.
