Chris didn't really get the longer chance that I did to try and let everything sit for a little while. I went back home to live more of our lives and got back on the 6th here. Not long to be gone but enough to worry some. I might not have had a say in it but I am sorry for the worry I caused.

Whatever that feather was that I found later, I didn't expect to find my away-mission armor in my closet later. I think my heart wanted a better way of protecting me and mine should something like last month happen again.

It just occurred to me that I'm going to have to start job hunting soon. Ugh. I always knew back home that I was going to go into Starfleet that I couldn't even really picture myself doing something else. It's gonna be really weird.

Really not a fan or this place making Una disappear a day after I came back. Talk about taking the cake for bad timing.

I know Una's safely out of the city, but what about the rest of you? Regardless, it's probably a good idea to keep your phaser on you if you have it. Set on stun, obviously, but these folks aren't afraid to shoot first.

Okay. Let me get this straight:

2. Not only am I stuck on Earth, but I'm also stuck in the stupid past
   
3. So no holodeck.
   
4. No food replicators.
   
5. And again, stuck on Earth.

Does anyone know where I can get a really good stiff drink? Or five?

This is a new sort of new. Wasn't quite expecting this, but guessing no one does.

What the kriff- Name's Poe. Got the rundown and a key. Guess this will teach me to have a moment of wanting a vacation. My wish got twisted when granted or something.

Has anyone gone on a gondola ride yet? Or commendeered a gondola for their own use? Would anyone want to? Looks like there's a lot of them over on the canals by the bridge these days.

It's been some time since I've been to San Francisco and this skyline is pretty different than I remember (unless you're counting archival photos, which I'm not). The Golden Gate bridge looks as expected, at least.

Hello, I'm Jim Kirk, newly arrived from a few hundred years in the future, but glad enough to be back in Earth for a while.

Well, I certainly did not expect to find myself in San Francisco. Although judging from the fact that there are no dinosaurs roaming around the city, this does not seem to be my San Francisco. Not that San Francisco is mine, I wouldn't presume to suggest that. Er, more this is not the San Francisco from my world.

Er, sorry, this is all just a lot to take in, is all. I was just on Île Saint-Hubert, not that I want to go back there, so this is all just a bit of a shock. Although if we were able to recreate a perverse version of dinosaurs, I should not be surprised at the possibility of universe like ours existing.


Oh, I'm doing this all backwards. I'm Henry Loomis, Dr. Henry Loomis, although I don't know if there's a need for paleontologists here, so maybe the Dr. is irrelevant. I think I need a big cup or coffee or tea. Or maybe something stronger.

Now that everyone seems to be back, I've been spending time propagating some of my plants that are just starting to overgrow. I also have a plethora of cherry tomatoes to get rid of. Would anyone like one or the other or both?
