Second Chances: the Network

As we get into the summer months, how does everyone feel about a weekly movie night in the common area?

I'll set up a spreadsheet of family friendly suggestions and we'll figure out some way of figuring out what we're watching when. What are your favorites?

Just picked up a free Buck Rogers comic from the Bookmobile.

He has a whole load of different ones, but this reminded me of home.

I have to admit, this place keeps even me on my toes.

I was thinking about Maximus the other day, so I'm not sure if this is to make me feel better or what, but I feel like I should thank the magic powers out there anyway.

I just have one small, teeny tiny, unimportant complaint...

I have no idea how to ride this thing.

All ages welcome at Edge of Glory! Drink and food specials all night long and there's a full nacho bar because they're my effing favorite and I want them! ALSO WE'RE GONNA HAVE CAKE.

Where are the best places to go for a run? I like to run at least twice a day.

I haven't been able to work because both of my bosses seem to think they're living out some sort of rom-com, so I'm trying to find things to do to keep occupied during the day. Does anyone want to go see the magnolia trees in bloom at the botanical garden with me? Or go get a drink? Maybe both.

Look, I get weird crap happens here and I'm pretty used to that in general, but how much longer do you think this BS is going to go on for? I miss my sister and best friend. It was funny the first day or two and now it just sucks.

Not being funny. I came home alone and woke up that way. It's not normal.

Given the craziness here, I'm tempted to ask if there's anything on your date night bucket list.

The holidays left me a little down. I miss my other children and the holidays really drive that home. I love the life I created here, but I wish they had the same opportunity. I know I'll snap out of it, but, for now, I am tinkering in one of the SI labs.

The postal service seems to be delivering packages to the wrong addresses these days. I have someone's Michael Kors package. Did anyone order a handbag?

I've had a lot of really incredible and odd things happen to me in my lifetime, but being the one millionth customer somewhere is a first. Thanks for the coffee shop recommendation, Steve. 😉
