Y'know, this is one of those times when I really wish my momentary hyperfixation had embraced more than just airplane model kits, because right about now having doll-sized furniture would be really nice.

At least my room isn't overrun with action figures like when I was a kid. But, sadly, my magic seems to be kaput.

Does anyone want to bring me a cheese puff the relative size of Saturn for me to munch on while I wait the requisite couple of hours for this to be over?

Hey there, its me again. You're all thrilled to hear from me again, I know. But its for an incredibly good reason.

As I'm sure you're all well aware, Rapunzel's birthday is coming up here and I think we need to make the celebration a collaborative event. A real shebang! So, let's talk party ideas.

I might be taking the easy way here, but we gotta make the lanterns. Don't worry, I have plenty more.

Did anyone else find some of the clothing from last week in their wardrobe? I'm not sure where I'll have the opportunity to wear it, but I can't say I'm upset over it. I liked that dress.

We've got a bunch of part-time openings at the community centers, including:

• Day Camp Counselors*
  
• Lifeguards**
  
• Community Garden Maintainers
  
• Recreation Coordinators

* First Aid certification not required, but encouraged
** CPR certification required (First Aid encouraged)

If any of y'all are interested, hit me up or contact one of the centers and tell 'em I sent ya.

The centers' websites have a lot more detail, but I'll try to answer what I can.

(Also, this ain't just for the kiddos, so if you're one of the older set and find something [possibly more full-time/permanent?] in the listing you might want to do, I'm sure something can be arranged!)

I have to admit, this place keeps even me on my toes.

I was thinking about Maximus the other day, so I'm not sure if this is to make me feel better or what, but I feel like I should thank the magic powers out there anyway.

I do not wish to change this evening around others. Especially not the kittens. Last moon, I retained my sense of self and kept to the fringes of the pack. I have found a suitable place for my four legged self to roam and will ask for a Super-ride.

So while I was eating the copious amounts of cereal that came pouring out of my cupboards, I got to thinking that it might be time to figure out what to do here. Work-wise, I mean. Which...is probably going to be difficult considering the only jobs I've ever had were runaway teenage waitress, working at a burger place that...we won't get into what happened there, and school counselor which I was already way under-qualified for.

I went through this before back home and it wasn't fun but there were also three idiots making my life a living hell at that point so maybe I shouldn't base all job searches on that. Uh, special skills include kicking butt, super strength, and ability to use weapons? Oh, and the wit. Can't forget to add "witty" to the resume.

Anyone have any ideas?
