I honestly can't believe I've been here for a year now. It's passed so quickly and somehow also so slowly at the same time. Weird.

Well isn't this just great. I had a beach, a chair by the water and an empty house, but could I enjoy it? He looks like he fought a street gang and lost No, I end up in San Francisco of all places.

Okay. So, still wrapping my head around interdimensional travel being possible. I mean, there've definitely been theories and discussions of some sort of multiverse being possible, but there hasn't been any actual evidence or anything.

It's pretty cool, actually. And that there are people with actual magic and superpowers here? Even cooler. I have so many questions.

Anyway, I should definitely introduce myself. My name is Lahela Kamealoha, I'm sixteen years old, and I'm a doctor. So the whole school thing is definitely throwing me a bit. Though it might be fun to see how fast I can get through high school this time. But I do not want to go through med school all over again. Not that it wasn't fun the first time, just don't really feel like starting from the bottom again.

Also, was definitely not prepared for the weather. I'm from Hawaii, so definitely not accustomed to the cold. Or ice.

I have no health concerns except for requiring monitoring for my liver as I am a transplant recipient and radiation poisoning.

So, it seems we're a part of a renaissance festival of some sort. Or at least that appears to be where I've woken up and I walked the grounds early this morning to get a lay of the land, so to speak. There was a notice on a board near the front gate, I think, stating this is the "Kingdom of Beale," so I can only assume we're still in San Francisco.

Is everyone alright? Nothing else out of the ordinary?

I'm Lieutenant Commander Steve McGarrett. I'm a recent arrival here. I also hope you don't mind dogs. My police dog, Eddie, has found his way here too. He's well trained. The most problem he might be is fighting for space on the couch.

I'm very glad to have my furry son. Maybe this place isn't so bad. I definitely feel better being back on Earth, even if some aspects of space were pretty cool too.

Can someone explain how I fell asleep in O'ahu and woke up in space?
