I don't think I'm getting wings. It feels a little pointed. Like, "you get to do ghost things at night, you don't get to fly, too" kind of pointed.

Even the new guy in my English class, who started school last Wednesday, showed up at school on Friday with badass, punk rock dragon wings.

Yes, I'm being petulant about it. No, I don't care that I am. I'm this close to stomping my foot and demanding a lollie as a consolation prize.

As much as I dislike this place, I'm happy I found tonkotsu ramen here. Makes me think of those idiots

We all agree that the best part of Valentine’s Day, or Halloween, or Easter is the day after when all the candy goes on steep discount, yeah? Had a grand time raiding the leftovers at the CVS this morning. There were still a ton of those candy hearts with words on it like ‘sweetheart’ or ‘true love,’ but as they have the consistency of chalk and generally taste like what I’d imagine chalk would, that’s not a surprise.


(ooc: hi guys, the internet situation is somewhat resolved — work sent me a Starlink Mini, and my neighbors have had theirs restored and are happy to let me use it, so I’m gonna dip my toes back in. Will still be somewhat slow on responses as the Starlink is data capped, but supposedly I’m on the list for repairs and will hopefully get my fiber connection fixed by the end of the month.)

It's weird when you hear two people arguing (Jason and Yelena. It's Jason and Yelena) and they switch languages mid-sentence. Multiple times. And it's weirder when you can follow the argument.

Normally, wounds like mine take about six to eight weeks to heal, but our friend sped up the process.

Lovely place! Fancy scenery. Can't say I've ever been here before. The tour's not taken us that far from England just yet. I keep wondering if I accidentally touched a portkey or something. Everyone's been really nice though. Bummed out that the rest of my band isn't here. How can I line up gigs without my band?
