I never want to see angel food cake again. I lost the contest and I still feel like my stomach is going to explode.

Josh the Cat just got into a fight with an apple. I suppose this means he isn't a fan of Cider Fest.

I suppose the new housing isn't so bad. I do think it's a good step in rebuilding.

One thing I've enjoyed about my time in Atlantis - I've been able to solve problems, sometimes multiple ones per day. The thing about mechanics is that most things want to be fixed; they want to run smoothly and do the job they were made to do. I won't call it simple but it lacks the complexity that so many of us face back in Mystic Falls and New Orleans. It lacks the complexity that the COS brings us here.

It allows me to feel like I belong. It allows me the breadth of affection and good humor. But more than that, all of you allow it. So, I wanted to say thank you. If you're free tonight, let's get together. A simple dinner with no schemes, no motives, nothing about the COS or what's happening in our other lives. Let's just be together.

P.S. Thanks for dealing with me when I was high.

At least the factions didn't last as long this time as they did the last time.

I'm starting to wonder what we are going to repeat next. I'm hoping Breckentale isn't one of the ones coming back to get us. But with Liv and Bo-

I don't know if this is an Atlantis quirk or not, but the music around town today is making me feel a bit nostalgic.

Hey Atlantis, next time you want help with whatever bullshit you've got going on, maybe text a girl first? The whole magic-coin-turned-teleport is way overdone. I'm hoping you at least have done me a solid and brought my daughter here, too? She's small, quite mouthy, loves chess. Ask her dad about that last one.

I've spent time stuck to a ceiling before, but this is getting annoying. It makes getting anything productive done very difficult.

I can't believe it's been over a year since I arrived here. It feels like I've been here forever sometimes. I guess Atlantis really knows how to make you feel at home, even with its oddities.

In an effort to make up for the fact that we're not in NYC this month, I think I ended up going a bit overboard with decorating the house. And with my own outfits when I'm not at work. But I'm not sure. Just how much glitter is too much glitter? Is there such a thing? I can never tell.

Of all the things we've turned into living here, yesterday had to be one of the most uncomfortable.

Not only is being a stuffed doughnut uncomfortable but the cat seemed to think I was a toy.
