With all this talk of plans for the future, it got me thinking of what I want to do here. I know some of the things I'm good at, but one of the things that kept nagging at my brain was the possibility of starting a flight school. I know we have a bunch of pilots - probably some of the best across universes - along with engineers and mechanics. And flying a plane is different than flying a suit or a broom or a pegasus, but it's what I used to do back before I got promoted to command jobs.

So, any interest in something like this?

Thank you, everyone who came to the dedication today. I doubt any of us will ever feel it is enough to honor our friends and family, but it is a promise that we will never forget them.

Like many others, I have been considering what to do now that we have won.

I admit that Atlantis is an interesting place and yet I find my heart longing for Wakanda.

To those that are deliberating or have decided to leave - what made up your mind?

We've been through a lot, lately. We've lost loved ones and colleagues, and this war has left gaps behind in our lives, whether it was because someone left Atlantis or because they were lost in the battle. I won't lie and say that those holes ever fill in entirely. My truth is more that you learn to live with them, and you learn how to support the ground that's left, so it doesn't all crumble. There are always going to be moments where I think about the friends I've lost, and one in particular. I often find myself wondering what he would say about the person I am now, about the choices I've made - especially when it's one that has put me in the crosshairs. Birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, all of these moments have a tendency to stir up immense emotions. Or they don't - and that's okay, too.

There's usually a lot of talk about the stages of grief, but I don't like to talk about it that way. That way makes it sound like there's a specific timeline, specific steps we all take, when that is rarely the case. Grief differs between people, it differs day by day, and that's all completely normal. What you feel right now might be different from the person next to you. It might be different from how you feel tomorrow, or a week from now, or six months from now. It's not linear in the way we've been lead to believe. Sometimes you cycle back to emotions you've already felt. Anger, regret, helplessness, betrayal, loneliness, isolation, disbelief, even thankfulness - this can all be part of the process. You might have trouble sleeping. Your appetite might change. You might just feel tired, or maybe you'll feel energized and like you can accomplish a whole lot in one day. You might be angry at the person who is gone, or at those who took them from you, or at yourself for thinking you didn't do enough. There's no one way to grieve for someone or something.

Lean on each other. Be patient with one another. And remember our doors are open for anyone who wants to talk. Or you can message me here if that's more comfortable.

Sometimes Atlantis does us a solid.

I'd rather have Melinda than the house, but I can't say that having Our house from Breck turn up here is a bad thing. Seems to have a few more bedrooms than I remember.

So, I know we don't have the spore drive here, but we have the smarts that worked on it. I'm thinking we should see if we can help Captain Sexypants Pike fix intake. I mean, it is a type of interdimensional travel right? I'm heading over there to see what I can do. But you two are smarter than me.

PEVENSIES, FAMILY & FRIENDS OF EDMUND (feel free to assume, filtered away from Ed)

So, our beloved Edmund the Just finishes a quarter of a century tomorrow and I thought we should make the occasion. Rather than subject you all to my cooking, which still needs some work, I figured we could take over a section of one of the restaurants Old White Lion at 7 for dinner and some celebrations. Thoughts?

Have you ever realized just how fascinating kale is? Like it's so wrinkly but then it tastes good when you cook it up .. especially with shallots and mushrooms... or kale chips.. those would be good right now. or cookies... chocolate chip cookies not kale cookies...
