Everything's so fucking bright. I'm gonna need fucking sunglasses or something.

I'm Griffith, by the way. Apparently a lot of you lucky ducks are from a 'good' future, or something. Fantastic I'm Jack and Ianto's kid.

I thought after Breck, not much of this place could surprise me any longer. I was clearly wrong, but cheers for the more welcome of surprises I could have received, Atlantis.

Future-Professor Temeraire is curious how he goes about getting a job as a Professor, now that he's been spoiled to that information.

[EZIO AUDITORE]
Well. This has been a week.

[HENRY FERRIS]
Would you like to accompany me for drinks tonight, Ferris? Just the two of us. I could do with a quiet night.

[Filtered Away from Reinhardt]
Hello! Does anyone here have a great deal of excess yarn and knitting supplies that they can part with? I don't have any money, but I can trade labor. I want to knit a Christmas gift for Reinhardt, so time is something of the essence. If you have weapons or armor that need maintenance, including fusion-powered like Reinhardt's gear, it's a family passion. I could help you with that. Defense fabrications are my specialty, though I've yet to sort out a way to build a shield that can't be overloaded with enough ballistics. Maybe I'll sort that while I'm here!

Hold up, there really are pegasus riding lessons? I thought that was a joke.

Do any of the newbies want to go with me? Or - anyone, really. A death-defying experience could be a good bonding exercise. Or I might break the other leg, but I'm sure that's no big deal here.

Hey, Eliot. (The first?)

Guess what colour socks I got from the advent calendar today.

I never enjoyed the simple pleasures of an advent calendar before Atlantis. While we had gift-giving holidays in Lordran, they took a backseat by necessity to fighting monsters and tending to victims of the undead curse, both activities that cut into shopping time, and then the merchants are usually the first to go anyhow which also complicates things. But advent calendars! I think home would love them. There's something so fun about opening up little doors to see what treat awaits us every morning, and so far, nothing is poisoned or needs to be slain, which is a jolly surprise. Also, I think socks have an undeserved reputation for being boring; cold feet aren't very festive if you've ever had them.

But truly the greatest surprise this winter has been the arrival of my unexpected but not unwelcome son, Declan Hawke. His honor, intelligence and charm are surely from his mother's side of the family, and if you haven't yet met him, you must.

I think we did well. Don't you? He's perfect. I'm still a little shell-shocked by it all but... it's hard to be anything but happy about him, isn't it?

This advent calendar has been a lot of fun. Today I got socks and I never thought I'd like navy blue and gren polka dots but they're kinda cool. They'll definitely stand out in a crowd.

This is the weirdest damn thing ever. Some guy at Coffee Me Better asked me what time it was and I said "ding a ling," when they asked me for my order, I said "ding a ling," What the hell is going on?

[per the clendar, Olver says ding a ling ever time someone asks him a question]

Happy birthday to me!

And thanks to the Advent Calendar for giving me socks today. One can never have enough.

weasleys, potters and friends (feel free to assume).
How about a nice dinner tonight with everyone to celebrate this guy turning 33?

I'm not sure how I feel about spending the holidays without my wife and son, but I hear there are other people who might be eager to say hello, so hello.

I'm Frank Longbottom. It's just like my best mate to not even be here when I show up. You owe me a drink, Fenwick.

Cheers to the white knight that saved me this morning when I was bleary eyed and stuck under mistletoe. My teeth were brushed and I didn't have morning breath so I'm fairly certain I didn't embarrass myself too much, at least? You'll have to tell me if I'm wrong.

Tomorrow, Anthony Goldstein gets one year older, and as recently appeared best mate, I've decided we're having a gathering at the Three Broomsticks tomorrow. If you're friends with him, feel free to come and buy him a round, have a piece of cake. Can't promise mistletoe won't pop up, can promise you'll have plenty of choices.

I've woken up in unusual beds before, but never ones quite as nice as this.

Nor have I woken up to fantastical sights such as these. I'm not sure if I can believe it, or if I can believe that my beautiful wife is here along with my best friends. Perhaps once I am done with this intake meeting I can see them for myself. In some way.

Or maybe I'll fall back asleep and wake up back at the garrison in Paris.

Either way, my name is D'Artagnan, and I am one of the King's Musketeers. Hello, Atlantis.

I truly don't know where I keep getting all of these poinsettias from. But it's kind of lovely to give someone something and seeing their pleasantly surprised reaction!
