I need to ask you something. You're Sherlock's friend, I need to know what's bothering him. And please don't try to skirt around the issue, Sherlock is giving me enough of that. I've been with him long enough to know that something is wrong, but he keeps being dismissive, or avoids the issue. I've seen him like this before, but never so intense. Did something happen to him here?

Happy New Year. Which is odd to write, since just yesterday, it was nowhere near the first of January. I'm still trying to wrap my head around what is going on, but at least Sherlock is around.

what do you think about a kind of support group for people who have died or, you know, come close enough? We have a few people who died on the Narnia mission and I knew there are at least a few of us who have been through it in our lives at home. Maybe it could help some people.

Gene and Alex are throwing a private New Years Eve party, and said I could invite others. It'll be a far more private gig than the huge one the city will probably have, and you won't have to worry about dodgy food and drink.
