Here's a list of things I discovered about being human again:

I'm lactose intolerant. The cheese fries are a delight but they're painful. The interesting thing is I have no memory of this from um the first time around.

I still have what is probably considered super-human alcohol tolerance. I don't want to test it but 3 shots and I'm only in the "flushed smile" category. I was never a sad or angry drunk.

I was never as fast or as strong as my brother. But I do enjoy getting up every day for a run around the lake. Having to think about my strength and my stamina instead of just relying on it. That's fresh.

Being tired is ... dare I say, fun.

All this to say no, I do not miss blood. I do not miss the guilt and the responsibility. I would really like to go to a Halloween party having nothing horrible actually happen.

And if you want to meet me tomorrow night for trivia, I'm open to that too.

Is it too late to be forced to live an alternate life with false memories? Because if I had to choose a way of being messed with by cosmic forces... Asking for a friend.

So my ex showed up a week or two ago and decided to stay, the book-roads tried to eat me today and I have a headache.

This is going to be my first Halloween. I have no idea how to really celebrate it, and I don't think online accounts of 'what to do' really do justice to the real experience. So instead, I'm asking everyone who's celebrated before! What should I do?

I thought that I saved the town by sacrificing myself. And while I am aware that my town still stands, it is surprising to be here. Like this, too.

I need to apologize for the behavior of my alternate while in Breckentale. Alex was a reflection of some of the most awful sides of my personality. Sides that I pride myself on never, ever letting loose. But such as it is, that was your introduction to this face. I hope that you can put Alex aside and know that I will do my very best to repair the bad attitude and bad actions he perpetuated that may still live in your memories.

Being here is a new beginning I thought I wouldn't get. And honestly, I don't want to look a gift horse in the mouth. Please allow me to make it up to you.

Bizarre. Just bizarre. I was hoping my brother would be here since a version of him (I suppose) was there, but alas.

It's like you all want to be immortalized in fiction. At least this way, you come straight to me and I don't have to come to you. Whether you step foot in the restaurant or you post on the network, all of your weird is really shining through.

But I have to say thank you. All of that weird you're sharing pretty freely has my word count significantly up since my brother decided to sabba ... and I can't help but be truly grateful.

Okay I'm having a bit of a freak out. Just a bit of one. Had a couple of really weird dreams last night, super strange, and then... today. Today I ... I kinda broke the faucet in my sink... like... off. Right off.

Okay so theory time -hear me out or laugh at me, either works. WHAT IF that rainbow rain last week? Was aliens. And they implanted dreams and memories into all of us and we're tapping into it now? Cause I know I started hearing voices not long after that, plus people were in one-day comas, right? Not to mention I've had daydreams of actual aliens and Is there anyone that ISN'T having weird dreams or hearing voices or whatever else is going on? Because you might be guilty, just say

The hearing voices thing might be just me? Either way, it's really creepy to be woken up by a weird sexy robotic voice saying "Pathfinder" while I'm half asleep. I'm at least moderately kinky but ??? I'm tempted to have a priest come out and exorcise the place, if it's ghosts instead of aliens. (Dear ghost: I am soooo not worthy of haunting, please creep someone else out)

TL;DR: Might be aliens. Is anyone else hearing voices along with (or instead of) the dreams?

I think I need my brain bleached after some seriously fucked up dreams.

So like, our shower-head is a little short and bathtubs can be slippery and apparently I'm a lot stronger than I thought I was (or the construction on this apartment is shitty).

That's the story of how I broke the showerhead by listening to Nicki Minaj's new album, trying to dance in the bathtub, slipping and grabbing the shower hose and ripping it out of the wall to break my fall.
