I don't think I've got the same way with words that Dr. Malcolm has (why mess with perfection, am I right?), so I'm not going to try.

What I do want to know, though, is what's your favorite wetland animal? Or plant? Or insect? I know what you're thinking. "But Trip, how could I ever decide? They're all so fascinating and beneficial to the environment!" I hear you. But I've been talking so much about what I think is cool, but now I want to hear about what everyone else thinks is cool, too, and maybe we can all learn something from each other.

Or I could just keep going. I know so much about beavers, y'all.

Um Hey, Atlantis. I'm Leon Kennedy. I'm new; just got here this weekend. So... the gist is that this is some kind of place that exists outside of time or space, populated by people from different universes? Cool, cool. What the fuck.

I was supposed to be a cop back home in Raccoon City but that uh. Didn't happen. But it looks like I'll be working in the same capacity here, so if you need any help, I'll try my best. I'm still in Medical, but I don't think they'll be keeping me much longer, so-- just wanted to say hi, figure out how this network thing works. The internet's crazy, right? Doesn't even have the dial-up noise.

Oh, and yeah, if you know anything about the incident in Raccoon City, it's bad. They're working on containing the infection but I-- it's going to take months of clean-up, even with the government's firepower. And I don't thin I'm sure they'll get things under control eventually, but until then, might wanna go to the beach for Spring Break.

I've seen people talking about these Trouble things and that you lot might be able to help if some rubbish seems to be lingering? I think the stuff I daydream about is coming true. Nothing that affects anyone else, just. Physical changes? And getting abilities I've always wanted to have. Music suddenly playing after I remember somebody singing to a radio. That kind of thing. It's obviously not in the same league as people controlling each other with commands or giant bloody stuffed bears on the rampage, but I thought I'd let you know.

I don't know why I suddenly felt like I could do this, but I bloody DID it. And they're amazing. I made wee cakes! I even made macarons. Do you know how many fights I've gotten into with macarons? My da loves them but every time I've tried to make them, they've been flat little disasters with no shine. Look at all these beauties.

So, hey. Longest nap in existence. The nightmare/fear thing held true on our end, too.

And waking up, mine feels kind of ridiculous. I've had a pretty longstanding fear of not being good enough, or being rejected by everyone. I can't fly, I'm not the most brilliant at magic, I grew up under a shadow that I blamed a lot of people for - and that wasn't fair of me. It isn't my parents fault I felt inferior to bloody well everyone. They've never been anything but brilliant at home - and here I've got loads more family to get to know. I've got the world's best mate, there and here, and I'm - I'm good. I'm lucky.

So from now on I'm gonna try to be more open and honest and less down on myself. If you catch me doing it, nudge me or something.

Still not going to play Quidditch. But I am gay, so if you need help designing outfits... Don't ask me, I only like green and grey.

So, my birthday is at the end of the month (January 30th...totally not a hint...Nope). Theoretically, I become 22. However given the year jump I'm also meant to be a lot older. Which I'm ignoring. That's the right decision, right?
