I was in the library at school today and I picked up an old Latin textbook that was lying on a table. I could read the damn thing and understand it too.

I never took Latin in school. What the hell?

This isn't at all how I expected my day to go. Audrey, I think we may need to raincheck our dinner plans for tonight.

Friend and family of the coma patients

I know you're all worried. I wish we had more answers. I can tell you that they are all stable and we're doing everything we can to wake them back up. As soon as we have any news, we will update you.

First day of band camp is in the books and so far there are no petitions from the Band Parents Club trying to get me fired. This is progress because last year they already had one going around before it even started. I guess making the field show a tribute to heavy metal featuring Metallica, Judas Priest and AC/DC music wasn't a good idea.

Which is why this year, we're doing disco music. It's gonna be awesome.

I can't believe that Lauren will be five years old tomorrow. She's growing up so fast and i wish that I could freeze time and keep her where she is but of course that's impossible. As for the baby, I've been feeling pretty good except for some mild morning sickness. There was that day that I was seeing and arguing with snakes which kind of freaked me out but thankfully it was a weird Atlantis thing and not a crazy pregnant thing.

[Friends] Since Lauren's birthday is on a Monday, we're having a low key get together at our place. There will be cake and ice cream naturally. Feel free to stop by any time after six.

I'm going stir crazy. I hate being grounded and I'm this close to either buying a motorbike or making the Enterprise out of a bunch of cardboard boxes I found.

I've decided to reschedule all of my appointments today.

I've been in Atlantis now for a year and some change. I thought that at some point I would stop being amazed at some of the stuff this place throws at us but I haven't. So far this month, I've been stalked by a scarecrow, been possessed by an urge to make little stuffed cows for five of my friends, and today there was a yellow pig at the entrance to the base which I had to pet before I could get into the building. He was actually kinda cute now that I think about it.

Clint, Steve, Daisy, Sharon, and T'Challa, I hope you like your stuffed cows. I worked hard on them. I know they all look my mini cow, Edwina, but she's the only cow I know personally so there you go.

Well then. This is quite the turn out for the books now isn't it. Quite the operation you've got here.

Since it's Father's Day back in my world, today seemed like an appropriate day to do this. Not to mention the fact that Lauren has told everyone she knows and a few people she doesn't know.

We're expecting a baby in January. January 8 to be exact and we're all very excited.

With everything I have been through I should have known the peace I was experiencing wouldn't last.
