I think a strategy meeting before we head out would be a good idea. Admiral Poseidon would like us to work with some of the agents and civilians on this.

For those who don't know me, I'm Dyson. I'm a detective with the Atlantis PD. We've been asked to work with you on locating the witch. I'm told we're to follow Edmund Pevensie's lead on this.

Blimey the snow is really coming down today.

I thought about going out and looking for Christmas crackers, but I might wait until the snow lightens up. I'll go out later or tomorrow, it doesn't seem right to celebrate the holidays without them.

The first day of snowfall is always so lovely, isn't it?

All these advent gifts are starting to pile up. Yesterday I got a toy robot, but today's notebook could be pretty useful. Is it supposed to be a diary? To write down all the adventures I'll have while I'm in Atlantis? Isn't that what the Network is for?

It's just starting to snow.

Where the hell are you?

Today's the anniversary of when Japanese bombed Pearl Harbour. It's a day I should never forget. My countrymen were suffering from the Nazi's air raids for quite some time, and though Great Britain petitioned the United States' assistance, there was a strong leaning toward neutrality. The consequences of this attack became the U.S.'s involvement in the war, which in turn changed the tide.

Now I am in Atlantis, with a completely different war at hand, struggling with my emotions regarding my personal involvement. What I think I'd like to say is, if the people of Atlantis saw something in me that might help them win this war, then I should like to assist them in whatever way I can.

There were lessons in judo being offered, which I was able to attend. I'd been practicing judo privately, at home. My dear wife was my sparring partner. The instructors gave me many useful tips, which I shall continue to practice on my own.

Tomorrow, there are lessons of an entirely different sort - an all day brownie baking party at the shop, Sweets. I don't know if I'll be there at 8:00 am, but I do intend to stop by to check it out, as it were.

The fat man better bring me some damn good pizza. That's all I want. Well. I mean, I wonder if Santa can bring me back safe too.

I meant to do this the other day, but got called into work on an early morning shout.

Three items:
1. My Quattro
2. A nice bottle of scotch.
3. For Alex to be reunited with her daughter.

I doubt that #3 would be possible. But if it was, then this would be the best Christmas celebration she's had in years.

There are mittens in the trees. Has anyone else seen this? It's very...interesting to look at.

Today's little advent gift still doesn't compare to Rogue's pies, but it was still nice to wake up to.

We've got you guys set up on a secure channel, so you should be able to keep in touch with each other and with us. I've got trackers for each of you to monitor vitals that you'll be given at the portal before you step through to your assignments. Stay safe out there, guys. Not the first time I had a dream of Father Christmas. Although, it wasn't so much as a dream as my subconscious trying to tell me something was wrong while a Dream Crab was attached to my face.

So, kind of the worst idea to find random strays and bring them home. Because that's just my luck. Gonna be out for two weeks, can't say more, but you mind looking after Dane for a bit? Can't ask the roommate, figure I'm already a bit of a headache. Trying to unteach him bad habits, but he comes when called and likes to go running. I'll repay you.

For those who might be wondering, I gave in and took Bernard to the zoo, where he will be nicely taken care of by the keepers. I simply do not have the right facility in my tiny flat for a flamingo. The zoo has a first class bird habitat. And, I must say, a pretty spectacular indoor penguin exhibit. The tank is built so that you can watch them swim, under the water. I never knew they could move so fast! I admit, I'm quite taken by them They look much more distinguished than flamingos, in the their faux tuxedos.

One thing that doesn't change, no matter how many of these different... worlds we're kidnapped to is the amount of paperwork that comes with booking a suspect. I think I had fewer forms to fill out when I was evaluating coppers' mental states. This is not something I ever thought I'd say, but it is something I miss about the 80s.

Do we have interns?

It's colder than a polar bear's knackers out there today! And why is there only French toast to eat?
