Surprise, my name means clear. Really glad I spent the time looking that up instead of getting pancakes this morning. (I also looked up my middle name, but I'm not sharing that.)

Did anyone else wake up to a tarot reading a few weeks ago? I wouldn't normally give those a lot of weight, but I keep thinking about how strange Atlantis is, and I'm not sure anymore.

Thanks to everyone who came out to my pre/post birthday celebration the other night. It's always strange being a leap year baby... only getting to celebrate your actual birthday once every four years. Thanks, Keith for organizing it.

But it got me thinking - what are my options for flying around here? I mean, the pegasi are... an experience, but they don't respond quite the way a ship does.

it appears my good friend Sara Ryder and her "complicated beau" have departed. I don't believe she would have left without telling me beforehand so I must conclude it wasn't by choice. Either way, this saddens me. I shall miss her. I daresay I shall miss her frustrating Mr. Vidal as well.

I suppose people have a drink in these times? I'm not too opposed to a glass of Port by the hearth in honour of dear Sara, if anyone cares to join.

Alright guys, we have a couple updates to the roster. With Abe's departure, we have Anissa Pierce added in the lineup as beater. Congrats! Also joining our group is the lovely quidditch pro, Leanna Mao. Welcome welcome. Our first match is this weekend, and we have one final administrative task to take care of before the match. We have our colors, our mascot, and team logo which you can find under the cut. The only piece left to finalize is our official team name.

In Muggle stories, the myth of Pegasus originated with the Greeks which you can read about in more detail here. As the story goes, Zeus eventually transformed Pegasus (the name, not just the creature) into a constellation. Keeping this origin in mind and with the stars included on the emblem, I thought that maybe we could incorporate something celestial into the name? Please find the poll below the cut with a handful of name suggestions. I had a bit of a mind funk determining names, so I've left an open suggestion option if you had something else in mind. A few days ago, Hawke's toy dragon stopped flapping around and attempting murder. When I removed it from the chest we had trapped it in, it appeared normal. Are these "Troubles" finished, then?

I was out at the shops and within minutes of my seeing my seeing them both the bear and the cow mascots from two shops came to life and they are violent. They are quite large.

To the attention of Medical and Magical departments: We had a bit of a problem at the vegetable market this morning. A young fellow asked me if I were Chinese or Japanese and then promptly had his lips sewn shut by an unseen force. I am accompanying him to medical now; he is quite distressed.

I'm looking for volunteers for research regarding the testing of and implementation of a restorative serum from my world that will affect my powers. My job is to try to utilize my powers (pain, and removal of) on you while under various doses of said serum. Your job is to give me a quantifiable number describing the sensation and/or lack thereof.

Before we get started, I'll need to run a few tests to get an idea of your pain tolerance and sensitivity. At no point will I produce any amount of pain in you more intense than a persistent headache (around 3-4 on the pain scale out of 10), and the pain will dissipate as soon as you quantify it. Likewise, all numbness I produce in you will be temporary. I understand that this will be uncomfortable, but it's for a good cause, and all you people are heroes and should eat up good deeds like catnip.

No one under the age of 21. No one with active reoccurring pain such as a badly-healed injury or arthritis. I won't pay you, but I might spring for doughnuts. Please leave me a comment here with questions or to volunteer. I have one open spot (Leonardo da Vinci, Penny Adiyodi, Evie Frye).

This day is turning out to be very odd. Leonardo is off being a bird, a cat attacked me without provocation, and now a balloon came into the house and followed me up to my room.

Hello. I wanted to suggest, with the recent COS activity, that we meet to discuss simulations and opportunities to prepare agents using advanced simulations that include our multiple specialties. Well, if this don't beat all. Hell of a step up from Diamond City, I gotta say. I'm actually feeling a little grubby by comparison; normally I get to feel like a class act because I'm one of a half dozen guys in town who know how to tie a necktie.

For the people doing the staring: I'm a synth. A jumped-up robot with a mind of my own, basically, but not quite as fancy as the new ones that look and work just like average joe humans. Fancier than the ones that just follow Institute orders, though, so you don't have to worry that I'm gonna start shooting lasers at you. I'm actually going back on the old Protect and Serve beat here.

So, this looks like a place that's probably got a good mechanic. Anybody know where I can find 'em? I haven't had time for a full tune-up in a while, and if I don't go for it now I'll have Ellie on my case.

I do not like the crunching feeling under my feet, but I am actually enjoying the smell of the sidewalks. Is what they are made of today a food? I have never seen such a thing!

You know, it's been stressful enough. Let's do something fun. I put out some heaters but can't be fucked to do anything else and I'm hosting a grill party on my deck, come on by. Let's just do nothing but grill some meat and veggies.

I have never particularly sought leadership positions, but I must say it is quite heartening to be in a place where a man with a name and color such as mine can be called Commander. I shall, of course, do my best to rise to the occasion and serve both my department and the people of Atlantis well.
