I might have gone a little overboard with all strawberries yesterday. I've got packages frozen for smoothies, some cookies and other things if anyone wants any. The whispering was a little creepy though.

Have you ever stopped to think about how awesome zippers are? They're amazing. I feel like just having one zipper on my outfit is just not enough. My life really needs a lot more zippers!

OLD CHARMED TEAM PLOT: At least 4 of the team will be infected and have misguided feelings for random things.

I stopped by the animal shelter today to see about volunteering (don't worry, Damon -- we're not adopting), and I learned a lot about rats. Did you know they can be the size of a cat? Gross. I'm glad we have Lady around to take care of any rat-sized cats because, um, nope.

I'm sure there are many questions regarding what happened to me in the past few weeks and I thought it would be a good idea to address them here so that we can all get back to work. If you have any questions or concerns about me or my condition, please feel free to let me know. I will answer any question as honestly as I can.

While the vampires - the Strigoi - were loose in Atlantis, I was attacked. To my best understanding, their condition reacted with my unique internal conditions and nullified the Cure that was in my blood. Because of course, I had been rendered a vampire in 1864. I had spent several decades in that condition. Instead of becoming human and catching up with my advanced years, I was relegated back to the last time I was a Vampire.

One of the things about my own vampirism is that to not have to deal with the horrible impact of lives taken, I can choose to ignore those very important parts of my humanity. I did then and that's what I came back to. To anyone I injured or offended, I would like to apologize. I don't know how I could ever make amends and I only hope you allow me the chance to do so. The thing about humanity is that you feel it a I happily and gladly choose to keep my humanity. You won't have to worry about that again.

Well, that was a mind fuck...

For all the trouble it causes, Atlantis still knows how to throw a party. I'm guessing I wasn't the only one who saw the leprechaun? I was really, really hoping for a pot of gold there.

17 doesn’t really feel much different than 16, but that might be because it feels like I just turned 16 weeks ago.

I know this sounds like a broken record, but it bears repeating - no one should be going out alone, especially after dark. If you're not one of the lucky ones hunting these bastards, stay the hell home until they're caught.

That was a suggestion for everyone else, but for you, it's a direct order. We only go out when we have to and when we do have to go out, we use the buddy system and we call for a security escort. No exceptions.

Not all attacks are happening at night, the Strigoi can enter buildings and houses if they aren't properly warded. Magic teams are going about doing just that - if you've got magic and you're not on a team but want to help, that's where we can use you. and if you've got religious symbols, please put them out where it's visible.

Be alert at all times, and minimize walking about in public, especially alone.

Stefan is currently considered a threat risk, and we've got a team tracking him. He can't enter houses without permission, but he can openly walk in daylight, so don't bloody trust him. We're doing everything in our power to get him back to normal.

I won't stay at the hospital long - the one attacked this morning is my bo b - er, best mate. He'll be alright, just in the hospital for a little while. I'll catch back up with you in a few minutes.

I've got a few thoughts on magic that can help us trap him, but we could use a list of all of his abilities?

Normally it'd take three bloody bears to wrestle me away from his bed, but I'm on the team helping to hunt the newest problem.

This whole "my dog's got thumbs" thing is really bloody strange. I just brought Flower home from the shelter the other day. We're still getting used to each other, and now this.

Think she's settling in all right, though.

I'd like to think this ski trip is making up for all of the missed vacations in my life. It's been really, really fun so far, and I'm supposed to be the chaperone. I can't believe we go home tomorrow!!!!
