I meant to do this the other day, but got called into work on an early morning shout.

Three items:
1. My Quattro
2. A nice bottle of scotch.
3. For Alex to be reunited with her daughter.

I doubt that #3 would be possible. But if it was, then this would be the best Christmas celebration she's had in years.

So, did we all have the same "write down your Christmas wishes" dream or what? Cause that was weird.

We've got you guys set up on a secure channel, so you should be able to keep in touch with each other and with us. I've got trackers for each of you to monitor vitals that you'll be given at the portal before you step through to your assignments. Stay safe out there, guys. Catch us some baddies and, you know, don't destroy Christmas or something. If Father Christmas dies, I'll never get my pony.

This place...this place makes us think of things that we miss, doesn't it? I've been doing just fine. I know there's a war here to fight and to win. But then, my dream last night...it made me think of him. Of there. And it's ironic, because the entire time that I was there, we were wishing we could escape to the real world.

I'm not old enough to drink, but I could use a distraction here. I...I've never missed him more than I do now.

I can bake cookies. That's what I'm going to do. Would anyone have any requests?

At least this time, the abundance of foodstuffs is an ingredient I can utilize. I busied myself with baking, this morning. Specifically Tarte Tatin.

There is plenty of Tarte Tatin in the kitchen, if anybody would like to take some. It's delicious if you warm it up, first.

On the subject of our first Communal Dinner - how does 22 December sound? It's on a Thursday, and I checked the Atlantis calendar of events, and nothing is really going on that day. If you're interested, please comment, and let us know which dish you'd like to prepare, and whether or not you might bring a guest, so we may know how to arrange the seating.

I shall begin by saying that I will prepare Shepard's Pie with gravy. It's a hearty dish.

Whilst I'm on the same, general subject, would anybody object to decorating the living room area with a tree and other festivities? I do enjoy decorating for Christmas.

I know there's an old saying about finding a penny and picking it being good luck but it doesn't address finding strange gold coins and ending up in some sort of alternate dimension. Not that I ever believed such things existed before now but it seems I have a lot to learn.

Hello ATlantis, I'm Peggy Carter.

For those who might be wondering, I gave in and took Bernard to the zoo, where he will be nicely taken care of by the keepers. I simply do not have the right facility in my tiny flat for a flamingo. The zoo has a first class bird habitat. And, I must say, a pretty spectacular indoor penguin exhibit. The tank is built so that you can watch them swim, under the water. I never knew they could move so fast! I admit, I'm quite taken by them They look much more distinguished than flamingos, in the their faux tuxedos.

I didn't know to whom I should address this post, but thought it best to place in here in the event that the individuals in charge may see it, or else somebody might direct it to their attention. If I may be so bold as to make a request? If I am to stay here and assist Atlantis' cause, I should like to have my wife, Ana Jarvis, be brought. While the thought of placing her in a potentially dangerous situation is not ideal, Ana is a highly capable woman with many talents, and I'm certain she'll be a great asset. I promise to protect her to my dying breath, for I miss her very, very much. Kindly consider my request.

[Private to people living in Tower #3, First Floor]

My fellow Golden Retrievers, as I've been told we've been called, on this cold and rainy day, I've taken it upon myself to tidy the common kitchen area. All the paper menus have been neatly arranged in alphabetical order by the name of the restaurant and put in a caddy beside the icebox, with all duplicates discarded. The drawers are now in proper order, and the floor swept and washed. Please be courteous and maintain the standard of cleanliness: I don't mind tidying the area every so often, but nobody appreciates a slovenly mess. While we're all living together, we might as well make the best of it. I hope you'll agree.

There is also an assortment of teas, both black and herbal, which I've purchased and placed in the same cupboard with the mugs. You're welcome to share, but I only ask that when a box is empty that you might toss it in the bin and replace it with a new box, so that we all might continue to enjoy.

While I'm on the subject, who would be interested in having a weekly (or perhaps bi-weekly?) communal meal?

I would like to have my socks back. Now.

I've been told that there are television programs based on the lives of quite a number of the people who've been brought here. Is there a location somewhere in Atlantis where these programs are available for viewing?

I've panicked twice already, and I feel a third coming on. Is this machine even working? It's so small. Hello?
