I always loved the winter constellations in the Mojave. On a clear night, you could see thousands of stars. Orion was just a fixture in the sky. I've learned the stars here and they're just as comforting, but they're still not what I expect to see on the solstice.

I can't decide if Atlantis sent an older version of my daughter to freak me out or to reassure me since there's another child on the way. Sometimes I think cadets were easier than children. I'm pretty sure it sent my best friend to smack me upside the head though.

I did appreciate getting blueprints of the Enterprise, though. As much as the Mojave is my retreat space and where I spent some time as a kid, the Enterprise will always be home, even if she wasn't mine all that long.

Atlantis never fails to surprise. I'd only seen square dancing before in documentaries, but it seemed everyone was getting into it yesterday. Which of course meant that Lauren insisted we had to join in. She even wanted the pup to dance, which went about as well as you'd expect.

When I was pregnant with Lauren, I remember craving bread.It didn't matter what kind it was as long as it was bread. This time I've been craving candy corn but that isn't a huge surprise since I love it anyway and last year I ran around with a bucket the day it rained candy corn and it was awesome. This year I didn't go ut because I can't run very fast these days. Thankfully the party last night had candy corn shots of the virgin variety. I got to have a few and got some advice that really wasn't anything i didn't already know and when we got home there was a giant bag of candy corn on the bed!

Yes, I have hidden it from Lauren because it's mine. Does that make me a bad mother? She went trick or treating so she got plenty of candy.

I think the last time I saw a haymaze was when I was in Iowa for the building of the Enterprise. I'm happy to say that I did not get lost. But I think that is mainly because Lauren is an excellent guide.

I'm very glad that I had the day off today because I am completely lost in this map! I never knew there were so many places in Atlantiis that I haven't seen yet. I'm trying to take notes so that we can go check them out at some point. This place is amazing!

Looks like I'm stuck spending the night in Medical. I thought I could shake this off but it won't go away. I hope it's not something we brought back with us. I feel like I've been hit by a truck.

With everything going on recently, I'm grateful that the horses haven't started acting up yet.

Alright guys, starting at 10pm tomorrow night, I'm starting my 24-hour stream. I think I'm going to play multiple games, not just stick to one, too. So I can keep my mind moving.

It's amazing what tourists will think is possible. No, I will not let you gallop down a mountain. This is not the movies. Now, if I see you ride and think you can handle your horse, I might let you canter across a field.

All that being said, it's always a joy to watch their jaw drops when you take them up to a scenic overlook and just let them drink in the majesty of the Rockies.
