Um Hey, Atlantis. I'm Leon Kennedy. I'm new; just got here this weekend. So... the gist is that this is some kind of place that exists outside of time or space, populated by people from different universes? Cool, cool. What the fuck.

I was supposed to be a cop back home in Raccoon City but that uh. Didn't happen. But it looks like I'll be working in the same capacity here, so if you need any help, I'll try my best. I'm still in Medical, but I don't think they'll be keeping me much longer, so-- just wanted to say hi, figure out how this network thing works. The internet's crazy, right? Doesn't even have the dial-up noise.

Oh, and yeah, if you know anything about the incident in Raccoon City, it's bad. They're working on containing the infection but I-- it's going to take months of clean-up, even with the government's firepower. And I don't thin I'm sure they'll get things under control eventually, but until then, might wanna go to the beach for Spring Break.

Cheers to everyone who's been patient with us trying to figure out what's going on with these-- issues. Troubles. We've found that some of them have actually got "cures", ticks to figuring out what makes them manageable or going away. We're still sorting out how to get rid of them entirely, but if you've got something odd going on and you don't have police or volunteers working with you, please check in with us at the police station. I'm probably overstepping my boundaries but

I've seen people talking about these Trouble things and that you lot might be able to help if some rubbish seems to be lingering? I think the stuff I daydream about is coming true. Nothing that affects anyone else, just. Physical changes? And getting abilities I've always wanted to have. Music suddenly playing after I remember somebody singing to a radio. That kind of thing. It's obviously not in the same league as people controlling each other with commands or giant bloody stuffed bears on the rampage, but I thought I'd let you know.

So, hey. Longest nap in existence. The nightmare/fear thing held true on our end, too.

And waking up, mine feels kind of ridiculous. I've had a pretty longstanding fear of not being good enough, or being rejected by everyone. I can't fly, I'm not the most brilliant at magic, I grew up under a shadow that I blamed a lot of people for - and that wasn't fair of me. It isn't my parents fault I felt inferior to bloody well everyone. They've never been anything but brilliant at home - and here I've got loads more family to get to know. I've got the world's best mate, there and here, and I'm - I'm good. I'm lucky.

So from now on I'm gonna try to be more open and honest and less down on myself. If you catch me doing it, nudge me or something.

Still not going to play Quidditch. But I am gay, so if you need help designing outfits... Don't ask me, I only like green and grey.

Scorpius and I both have birthdays this week, and you don't really have to get us gifts or anything, but everybody can join us at the LG Trocution tonight for dancing and shots.

This thing keeps changing my usual greeting to watcher so I guess I'll just say hello. Teddy said I should introduce myself here and showed me how to use this thing. Pretty ace! I'll take it over parchment and ink, yeah? Clean, and I can just erase mistakes. I like it.

Call me Tonks. Just Tonks. The directory here shows a lot of names I recognize and a lot I don't, but since I'm a mum now I need to socialize good and proper. I got here today, apparently in the middle of some kind of situation where some of your men are gone a bit mad? Not my doing, I promise. I'll be working as a Detective, which sounds a bit more descriptive than Auror, but I'll take it.

There's something the matter with Albus. I don't know what exactly - he came over this morning and after a tea and chat he dozed off for a bit but when he woke up, he was acting... distant? Kind of cautious? But not that cautious because HE KISSED M I know it doesn't sound like terribly over-the-top behaviour but I KNOW HIM and this was very odd!

Can you please check up on him through the day? He's been under a lot of stress lately so maybe I'm blowing things out of proportion but honestly I'm not and you should be worried too. Thank you!

Don't forget everyone - today is Pegasus Riding Lessons, so if you're interested in taking a selfie (did I use that phrase right) on top of a pegasus, be sure to come by the stables (although thinking on it, don't take a selfie on a pegasus, because who would be holding on to the reins? No one would).

Oh, and by the way, after some training today is my first day working in Communications, so you'll see a lot of me posting about fun happenings around Atlantis from here on out!

Plant a magic bean, think about how much you miss your greenhouse, and wake up to it sitting in the backyard. I like how this place works sometimes. If anybody has an interest in magical plants, let me know. Don't, uh, don't just go in there. Some of the plants are poisonous. And a few of the ones in the back are just plain tetchy.

When I decided to stay here I didn't expect to become a bird, it's amazing, but... how do we work when we aren't well, or well, when we are missing thumbs and fingers.

It's really cold today. I can't get the tablet to show me the warmest places with my voice. Where are the warmest places?

PLOT: Not again! ONE CHARACTER EACH turns into a bird for 48 hours, yes, you can speak, yes, you can use voice activation on your tablets.

Not to say that I don't enjoy the holidays as much as the next person, but from a work perspective, my second favorite thing about January is that it's another eleven months until I have to deal with the insanity again. My favorite thing about January is that my son is turning two on the 31st. My least favorite is getting quizzed by the door to my office every time I need to go in or out.
