Pre-Quidditch Match

I've been sitting here thinking about plants.

Yes, the green leafy things that make everything in our world better and you know what? They do not get nearly as much appreciation as they deserve.

So.

Tomorrow morning I am going to host a plant brunch! Yes, we will have mimosas, and yes, you are encouraged to dress plant themed, and we are going to celebrate plants! I would have done a party tonight, but with Quidditch today, those parties come first!

Good luck to both teams and can't wait to see everyone tomorrow for brunch at 10:30 at Snoozle!

PLOT: ♆ - ONE CHARACTER EACH wants to educate others about how much plants deserve appreciation.

You know, Charlie is right — plants don’t get nearly as much attention as they deserve! Did you know that an average size tree can provide enough wood to make 170,100 pencils? Or that bananas contain a natural chemical which can make people feel happy? Plants are so useful and important that around 2000 different types of plants are used by humans to make food! That vanilla flavor you like in your latte also comes from a plant — the pod of an orchid, Vanilla planifolia! Plants are so cool and important that during the 1600s, tulips were so valuable in Holland that their bulbs were worth more than gold. The craze was called tulip mania and caused the crash of the Dutch economy!

I hope you’ll all show the plants of Atlantis the admiration and attention they deserve from now on!
