I was talking with Emmeline the other day and, given we've got a lot of folks with magic and we're more or less separated into 4 separate 'houses' ... what do you lot saying to getting an intramural Quidditch league going? We can make it safe, spell the brooms, build the Pitch if needed, and get all involved.

That way, I get to see you all more often too. Your options for this proposition are Yes/Yes.

The magic here is unlike anything I've ever seen. I wouldn't normally partake in any sort of Christmas cheer (just saying that sends a chill down my spine), but I did need a winter coat. I suppose it'd be rude to return it...

And I already finished yesterday's bottle of wine as well. Oops.

You two throw a bloody fantastic party, brilliant magic, this is not me just stroking your ego.... what would you say if I said I wanted to make a kind of Hogwarts Sorting Hat that we could use in Atlantis for... reason? Think you could help me out? I was going to talk to magic research, too, but I wanted your thoughts first.

All right, you lot. Benjy and I have a task for you that might seem mad, but we need a sorting hat. The idea is to be able to sort anyone in Atlantis who wants to play quidditch. We don’t have the REAL sorting hat here, obviously, but I think if we all put our heads together, we can come up with something that’d do the job! This is sort of extra research, so it’s completely optional but I’d love anyone who wants to help!

Mm, much as I love receiving gifts, I think this winter coat is Atlantis' way of telling me I ought to suck it up and accept that this cold is permanent.

At least it's a flattering coat. Don't mind me as I grumble, though.

On the positive side, Aveline has decided that I am a good option for warming up, and has deemed me worthy of sitting on my lap. This is certainly the closest any Aveline will ever come to touching my body in a half-affectionate way, alas.
