I’m not sure what possessed me to put on such strange clothing today. I suppose it is one of those strange Atlantis impulses that will soon pass.

Seriously not cool, Atlantis. I’d like my normal clothes back, please.

Well I didn't expect to be thrust into the middle of another war with this weird muggle device that I absolutely don't know how to use, bugger all, and I really, really didn't expect to learn that my one year old son is, in fact, older than I am.

The good news is, I didn't die (not that I thought I was going to, mind you, just figured the dramatization of afterlifes was a damn good ice breaker).

The better news is, I'm told my beautiful, smart, amazing wife is already here (how she is when we just had a terrifying shouting match and I sent her upstairs, damn my bravado, I don't know).

The best news is, so is my son. Even if I apparently missed his entire childhood, Hogwarts years, and adulthood. Fuck all.

All of that to say hello, Atlantis, I'm James Potter. Who wants to get a drink?

So, I'm pretty pleased to know that the leather pants still fit like a glove. The tassels on the legs and the red poet shirt might be a little much, and the hat definitely is something, but I'm feeling more myself than I have in years.

I've spent the last few days searching the Internet for myself, because I'm a narcissist. I acknowledge this outright because most things I found do too, and I found that part amusing.

I'm not sure gold lame & fishnets is a good look. I feel like I belong at a performance of Rocky Horror.

I suppose I am glad I am not alone in the wardrobe malfunction that seems to be caused by Atlantis. These clothes are a far cry from what I wore at the monastery, but clothes are clothes, I suppose.

Whoever designed tassels wasn't a practical thinker.

There are a fair number of Atlantis-related excuses for rescheduling your court date, considering where we live. We understand if you or your lawyer or the judge get transported to the moon or locked in a haunted house unexpectedly. 'Atlantis changed my clothes,' is not an acceptable reason.

('Atlantis stole my clothes,' is acceptable, however. Please don't come to court naked.)

I'm offended of someone's floccinaucinihilipilification of tacos. I also saw a lateritious shirt yesterday and I almost bought it.

PLOT: - ONE CHARACTER EACH has the urge to use really really big words today and complicated ones as well. It's almost as if they've been reading a dictionary all day long.

I wish I didn't have to leave the house today because all I have to wear is this. Try not to laugh too hard.

♥ Her whole look is just on point. The make-up, the hair, the fashion! ♥ I heard she was a queen, but she's still taking time to help people and get involved with new arrivals which is super nice and not what you might expect from royalty. ♥ The confidence! I mean... I fought vampires and survived. I also fought werewolves, and survived. Also, so, you know you see a lot of movies with werewolves. No one tells you that, they can sometimes stink pretty bad. And have you ever tried getting fur out of a nanotech suit? It's actually pretty easy.

But I survived, so I think that's pretty cool. I think this makes me a Monster Hunter and an Avenger now. My resume's getting boosted.

Also, oh my god, I love Red Beans and Rice.

Very funny. I get it. I'm not the most fashionable guy around.

I look ridiculous but hey, least it's red.
