So I'm pretty sure you guys can come and get the kittens now. I started them on soft solids on the second and they seem to be doing okay with that so you can keep them on that for a while and then wean them onto kitten hard food in a few weeks. There's a pretty good deal on it at [store name] for bags that should last a little while for a start, as long as they don't claw their way into them.

At least I can stay awake today, so that's definitely an improvement. I could kinda do without the sleet though.

And isn't bad weather supposed to make birds want to go into shelter? Like, I feel a little like I've arrived in a Hitchcock movie. Only it's like a weird Hitchcock movie where they aren't all black, and they're just constantly around... I don't know. So far this new year is off to a slightly unnerving edge.

Not amused by the amount of birds around today. I just had my car washed! And then there's the dodo that kept trying to open the car door. Back off!

Why are all my Companions leaving? One by one. I'm starting to feel like it's a conspiracy. Who's next? Jack? Koschei? Or maybe one of the new friends I've made since I arrived?

Wiki says Rick and Morty are supposed to a parody of that time travel movie with that Delorean, but Rick's resemblance to me is so uncanny that I have to wonder. Binge watched both seasons of that, then went on to watch all of Stranger Things - is there anybody in Atlantis from that show? That was creepy. After that, for some comedy I tuned into a few historical documentaries so I can laugh at what they got all wrong.

I'm going to watch my Christmas Special next. Why not? I'll get to see what happens in my future.

Does anyone know why there are so many birds around? There are so many kinds and some of them are so colourful that they almost don't look real.

Would anyone be at all surprised if I told them a bald eagle followed me around all day? I was kind of surprised by that. Someone has a sense of humor.
