I could only stop Gwen's brain from swelling. Unfortunately, she's in a coma for now and we have to depend on the hospital for the rest. I'm currently at the secret base with Banner. We're working on the suit and Banner will send info about the sonic device to Barbara. We're not leaving the lab until the suit is ready to go. I figure the less running around town we all do, the safer everyone will be.

Banner is convinced that he can control Hulk and that Carnage taking him over isn't a problem. I'm beyond trying to argue and he knows his own brain best, so we agreed to hide in a secret base and work on the tech until Carnage is taken care of. If something goes wrong, I'll just boomtube to Star City and think about my life choices. [Blink.] After that, I think Banner is willing to go back home and we should avoid any damages here and over there if we all play it smart. Everything is fine and there's no reason to come over here. I'll let you know if that changes, but we're both pretty focused on solving this problem.

[The second subbasement under Wayne Tower is Dick's Batcave, much like it was from the long forgotten time he'd come from. He wasn't living in the Penthouse because he was determined to take care of the house.

The new "cave" had ample space, state of the art security, surveillance, and computer equipment, but it was all a bit newer than what they had. It was fresh, it still had the high smell of new in the place, but Dick was making it comfortable. There was a conference table on a raised platform near enough to see the computer monitors and large screens. But not to fiddle with them. Dick was sitting at the head of the table and waited.

Damian had been there already, he was in the room, the others had yet to arrive but they weren't late. Yet.

The table was glass, actually pilfered from a conference room that was being remodeled upstairs in one of the offices, but he didn't mind repurposing it. There were enough chairs for everyone to have a seat, and even though Dick was sitting in his chair rocking his shair back and forth, it looked cohesive, even though it's inhabitant looked just the tiniest worse for wear, but it was only a day or two of stubble and his smiles weren't altogether pleased. But he was trying.]

Guys, we need to talk.

I'm honestly not sure how to go about this, let's face it, we're not the most communicative of superhero groups. And I know everything's really in an intense state right now, so it's sort of easy for things to get lost in the shuffle or taken for granted. I was guilty of this too. I was talking to Steph and she's having a rough time. She said she feels really detached from us and worried we don't care anymore. I guess the rogues checked in with her before we did, so yikes. She was hurt that she had the engagement news to give and people didn't seem excited for her. I know it's weird for us because of Nigma, trust me I know, but he's going to marry her. She is happy with him. They want to have kids. I don't want her to feel like her family isn't going to be supportive. I figured maybe some congratulations and enthusiasm couldn't hurt? This whole PTSD makes her disconnect from people, and I think she really wants to connect.

I'm visiting her soon. I guess just regular calls and visits would be great, maybe video chats or some way to hook into our regular communicator? I'm not sure. I think it'd be good for her to feel like she's still one of us.
