It's neutral ground in the hotel so hopefully they'll just ask me a lot of questions and I can reassure them we're not a bunch of murdering crazies from Las Vegas, which I think is what they want to hear.

I'm aware the hotel has introduced some of you from Las Vegas to our world, complete with dossiers and individual levels of clearance at S.H.I.E.L.D. I'm Steve Rogers, for those of you who do not know, also known as Captain America.

I don't know how much information or knowledge those of you new here have about S.H.I.E.L.D., so I'll give you a brief introduction. S.H.I.E.L.D. stands for Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement, and Logistics Division. S.H.I.E.L.D. is an organ of the United Nations. Nick Fury, the director of S.H.I.E.L.D., and Maria Hill, the assistant director, have not been seen here as of yet, and as such, the organization was considered defunct, in spite of lasting remnants and relics of its reach and tech.

With all of you now joining us, and working with us, the Avengers, members of a S.H.I.E.L.D. imitative, to keep the world safe, I think we can safely assume S.H.I.E.L.D. is up and running once again. We will be requesting information on the lot of you, but now might be a good time for introductions or as a forum for any questions we have the clearance to answer.
