Last Sunday's mass was at least 20% smaller than it's ever been. Even around this time of year. Two baptisms were cancelled and three funerals never happened. One guy who went missing a few weeks ago? He just showed up like nothing was wrong and I swear to god he made my brain feel like it had bubbles in it. Gotham is known for being weird, but this is giving me the goddamned creeps.

I found a magic knife that I want you guys to look at. I think it's connected to the recent weird sacrificial murder in Gotham. I went in there to check for tricks and I'm 100% sure it's legit magic.

Selina told me about what happened with the bomb.

It is unacceptable to send me into a situation like that without having all the details. If she died, her blood would have been on my hands as well as yours. Whether you believed her safe or not, that still shows a lack of respect and cooperation for my role in this incident. It is unreasonable to withhold information from your teammates that might make a difference to their actions.

Also I find it alarming she was feeding us information and put herself in danger to do so, and this was our reward back. And I say our because this was a mission done by the Justice League, we are all culpable for decisions made on behalf of the team. We have a responsibility to the world, but we also have a responsibility to each other and our chosen allies.

I do not believe that either of you wanted to harm her, and I am willing to hear your side. I hope this will not happen again and you understand why this is troubling.

If Bruce has finished doing whatever it is Bruce does, are you all coming back? Or returning to respective doors first? There are three doctors here, and enough coffee and food to feed an army.

[Tony clicks onto the Avengers + Guests comm. He's been on clean-up and rescue in NYC and when the news comes in he was practically asleep standing up between building excavation, and the only reason nobody noticed was because the suit can freeze in place without anyone noticing for at least three minutes. Tired, but in a deceptively good mood, he takes a break from Hulk-watch to scroll through a news feed.]

I hear Boston is pretty this time of year. I'm really in the mood to run from my problems and find new aliens to blow up. It makes me feel manly.

[Iron Man is in the air and the two crashed ships at the base of Stark Tower are gaping wide open. The military and SHIELD personnel that can be spared are spreading the word to board for a quick trip to Boston, and let's be real, if you're a civilian with some ability they're going to look the other way when you're boarding. Hours before, a lot of refugees were already lifted to Boston in the mistaken impression they'd be safe there.
