Given recent tensions, and assuming the lack of an alternate relief strategy [nope, she is so not subtle], I wanted to make those of you not familiar with the mansion aware of the simulation room. Pretty handy training tool. All things considered, it'd be a good idea to make good use of that thing if we're ever going to be a cohesive unit to learn how to fight alongside each other. Tony, once you're up to getting out and about, if you want to take a peek at it just to make sure everything's in working order, feel free.

Oh, also, a guy that goes by Logan's here now. He's James H. on the journal, but he's codename Wolverine. He's a longtime friend of a lot of your [...] my universe selves and a good guy to have in your corner. Splits time between the X-men, Avengers, and God knows how many other teams. Just an FYI.

Whelp superheroing doesn't actually pay the bills, plus occasionally a lot of down time (that I don't mind knock on wood), so I'm going back to the PI business. If you know anyone who needs it in NYC, send them my way. No case is too small.

Just throwing this out here that we still have space at the mansion if anyone needs to crash. We also have our own gym and simulation room for training. Also I haven't had a good match on the pool table in a long time. In the past people sort of come and go as they like if they don't need a permanent space. If you'd like to see it for yourself just out of curiosity let me know.

Also, Carol suggested we have a poker game. Anyone into poker?

I'm sending a car full of pasta to Stark Tower for Carol. She's going to be headed home, I'll make sure she gets there alright.

[How long had it been since she was brought into the room? Carol couldn't remember. Her head was pounding, startling her into wakefulness, and she lifted a hand to the bridge of her nose to pinch there. The fever was starting to break, but not quickly enough.

Her hand fluttered to her very flat stomach, needing to convince herself that she wasn't actually pregnant, that Marcus hadn't actually been here, that it was all a result of Crane...but it was hard to swallow. It seemed so real.]

Wha...? [For a moment, she forgot where she was. She frowned, but she quickly reminded herself--this was Tony's tower. Second question: Why was Natasha here?] Nat...?

[There's the accompanying sound of pounding on steel as she's half-screaming, half-crying into the communicator.] SOMEONE HELP ME. OH GOD, OH GOD.

Carol, you've confirmed the presence of Marcus Immortus. He's by far the strongest lead we have on whoever is holding the others captive. We need to find him, and we need to keep this quiet.
