[It was relatively early, all things considered, but the night's festivities had proved more exhausting than expected, and Selina was actually considering sleeping in and letting the Crane hunt go for another day. After all, there was no immediate danger. If Crane hadn't moved before now, then a few more days couldn't hurt anything.

Decided, she changed into leggings and a grey t-shirt she'd borrowed from Bruce, and even the loose fabric did nothing to hide the weight that was only just starting to come back after weeks with the undead. But she was uninjured and well rested, and the loft was brightly lit. The remainder of the disgustingly expensive bottle of bourbon was on the kitchen table and some slow jazz played on an old record player, scratchy and vinyl and Etta James.

She had no idea when Bruce would be back; she assumed he was off taking care of that little business with Iris and the batsignal. Thick socks to her shins, and she curled up with a tumbler of rich booze and a book with a very cracked spine.]

[News starts to trickle in on Thursday morning about several disturbances throughout the city. A man who attacked a cab driver in the early morning hours. A brawl outside a bar. Two teenagers arrested after a fight. But then the 'disturbances' start to lean towards something not quite ordinary. There's the mother who attacked the playmates of her son while at the park. The daycare provider who attacked several children at the childcare facility. The landscaper who assaulted a homeowner with a pair of hedge clippers.

Beyond the violence that seems to have spiked within the city, there are other reports coming in of police being called to assist several citizens with various problems. Reports show a spike in admissions at the psych wards of several of the area hospitals.

Perhaps there's something in the air, some reporters say, but all in all, the reports are merely chalked up to coincidence though the situation continues to be monitored.]

[A digital locker link, which contains information about four Marvel labs - Harlem, Chinatown, Bronx, and Midtown - all of which were rented in the past year by a man matching Crane's description, and who didn't have local papers that could be verified as being legitimate. Interviews with neighbors, landlords included.]

All four spots seem to have been abandoned quickly, Stevie, and there's work left in them. You might want to get samples to Robert for testing, but Crane isn't this sloppy. If he had something in the works, he wouldn't leave it behind. It might be a red herring to distract us from whatever Ra's is doing in Gotham. Regardless, be careful with the samples.

I can't find anything on him after the Midtown location. No trace.

We might well have a man, named Crane, alias Scarecrow, from the DC door here with us. He's a sadist who deals in fear. He drugs people for fun, to terrify them. According to a credible source, "[w]hen he was testing things in your world, he doused a school with something to make the children fearless, just to see what they'd do. Then, he used a stronger version on us. He likes fear gas best. He has a particular fondness for straightjackets and cells and needles, all in conjunction, preferably."

I will attach a visual when I get one. [Pictures provided by Dick, five in total, of one Dr. Crane, attached.] I am in contact with people from the DC door about his presence here.

Note: We are not apprehending this man, as there's no evidence of a crime that is not circumstantial as of yet. But we are to be on the lookout for him. With the strangeness on the news today, I think that's the least we can do.

He has a few abandoned labs around, locations that should be watched or patrolled, just in case, as he's currently in the wind. There's is one laboratory each, in: Harlem, Chinatown, Bronx, and Midtown. Anyone up for it?

It seems there's a DC villain on the loose named Crane aka Scarecrow who has some labs here in Marvel. Apparently he drugs people to the point of their being greatly afraid/using fear to control them. He had four known labs here in the city at Harlem, Chinatown, Bronx, and Midtown. Myself and your niece are investigating Harlem, Rogers and Romanoff's kid is taking Chinatown and Danvers has Midtown.

Carol, you've confirmed the presence of Marcus Immortus. He's by far the strongest lead we have on whoever is holding the others captive. We need to find him, and we need to keep this quiet.
