COMMAND + COMMUNICATIONS

There's a project I've been working on with the rest of the communications department for some time. Our messages during missions are often already encrypted, but this would involve using codes and ciphers with numerous languages, both modern and ancient. The key would change often, and agents would be required to memorize the frequency of the key changes.

It's designed to be complicated and with that comes a possibly extended time to train necessary agents. We've developed a training program that I can present in our meeting tomorrow morning.

How do you deal with losing people in this place when there's nobody else left you know?

Well, if this don't beat all. Hell of a step up from Diamond City, I gotta say. I'm actually feeling a little grubby by comparison; normally I get to feel like a class act because I'm one of a half dozen guys in town who know how to tie a necktie.

For the people doing the staring: I'm a synth. A jumped-up robot with a mind of my own, basically, but not quite as fancy as the new ones that look and work just like average joe humans. Fancier than the ones that just follow Institute orders, though, so you don't have to worry that I'm gonna start shooting lasers at you. I'm actually going back on the old Protect and Serve beat here.

So, this looks like a place that's probably got a good mechanic. Anybody know where I can find 'em? I haven't had time for a full tune-up in a while, and if I don't go for it now I'll have Ellie on my case.

Okay, so - I spent like, two days as a giant bird (awesome yet disturbing) and now every time I even get close to metal I get an electric shock. Either Atlantis hates me or is trying to prove something and I really don't know if I wanna find out which that is, yet?

I think I'm gonna need a rubber bodysuit, which is a sentence I never thought I would ever want to say.

I'm so sorry if it was your kid who ran away screaming from me. My, uh...my beak does this weird clicky thing when I'm happy, I guess??

Maybe not on Christmas (I don't know what I'm doing on Christmas, I feel a bit lost without mum around) but sometime next week we should all have a meal or something. There's some really nice eating places we can book out and I think it would be good to...catch up? All hang out in one place?

That was an experience, wasn't it? I've never really quite had the look to be a bear but a literal one was taking it a bit too far. Still, I was very furry.

I'll be going to this Mystic Falls place for a while to help out with finding the Notebook, I think. Apparently it's landed there.

It just sounds like a bit of a search and rescue mission for a book so I doubt it'll be like, super eventful.

I understand most of you who were there don’t remember it, so sorry in advance if I act inappropriately glad to see you when you have no idea who I am. There’s also this thing where my favorite childhood books about a magical land turned out to be real, so I guess nothing should really surprise me much anymore.

I might be the most mundane person in the house but I'm hosting a night where we binge the current series of the Great British Bake Off, which we totally all missed in the other world where I was in like, the best and most healthy relationship Let's not think about that.

For the uninitiated, it's a show where people bake every week and it gets judged. It gets surprisingly heated and often unintentionally hilarious. This is a fairly annoying but reasonable catch-up of the show.

Things kinda make a bit more sense now.
