It is odd, the things you miss. I miss my companions and the others I am close to back home but I also miss swoop racing, and the swoops.Which, for those who are unaware, look like this.

As I do not think I shall find one of those, or the materials to make one I have found the closest this world gets is something called motorcycles. Therefor i have purchased an old one, that needs some serious repairs. It will give me a chance to take it all apart and learn it's workings and get used to this vehicle. And, it gives me a hobby. I enjoy training, but I also enjoy taking things apart and putting them back together. I must have picked that up from Bao-Dur.

Before anyone else asks, yes, I did pick up a coin. It's not that surprising I'm supposed to be here.

Anyone know the situation with contacting home?

Apologies for the quiet, but it has been a bit loud different since the new arrivals. My classes on mediation and the Force are open to all, and for those newcomers my name is Meetra Surik.

I am also considering teaching the lightsaber forms I know, which can be adapted to swords for those more at ease with them.

And thank you to whoever delivered the sweets. They are vastly different from anything my galaxy has, and were much appreciated.

We'll meet in the training area at 600 hours tomorrow to get started on our training. We've got some intel from the demigods in the world we're headed too and one of them will be joining us once we get there.I'd suggest being prepared for a long day.

Would it do any good for me to tell you to try and stay out of trouble?

I require a sparring partner. Fighting with two blades is still new to me, so I must practice. And I find keeping one's skills as up to date as possible is generally a good idea. I must add that I practice with lightsabers, so if there are those who wield them and are willing to spar I would be grateful. I can switch to regular blades however, so my offer is open to anyone with a mind to offer me their aid. I am also willing to practice and spar unarmed.

Sometimes I feel so strange being here. It's almost as if I know nothing about anything. Like today all of the restaurants in town are featuring something called soup. I know what soup is but I never realized there were so many kinds. Growing up in a desert limits your horizons more than I realized. Not to mention a desert on another planet.

Well, I'd like to say "pick up odd looking shiny coin, sudden teleportation, terrible threat to the world, compelling recruitment pitch, new job" is all in a day's work for Overwatch agents but - you know -

- this is at least a bit above average on the unusual scale.

It's a pretty place, though, and it's nice of our hosts to provide this free internet sort of thing. So hullo, Atlantis, I'm Lena, but really, call me Tracer. Everybody does.

I am still in search for a suitable location for meditating. There are a few locations that would have the space, and quiet, needed, but I would need to speak to those running it to see about acquiring a bit of space. Until I have that sorted, there seems to be a park near where they sell the pastries and what they call coffee, it is named different where I am from, that seems to be free of use. Weather permits the first lesson in meditation shall be there. I also know there is a beach, if the park does not work out. If anyone has any other suggestions do let me know. I wish all residents to be able to benefit so I wish to be as accommodating as I can be.

As for the other lessons, thanks to a conversation I had at the party I have gotten a few more ideas. Much of what I know can be done with the Force seems to be capable of being done by people with other powers. I am very interesting to see if the powers I know of can be translated, and if the powers others have can be converted to being used by the Force. That is not to say others cannot learn things as well. I still intend to teach how to shield thoughts. For that I need a rough estimate of how many might be willing to learn. My method is a bit unorthodox and I will need adequate supplies and I fear I have yet to find any who might sell me pazaak decks, so I shall need to make a few.

I don't really know what they gave me, but I like it a lot. Less liking the whole healers ward thing though.

Hows my puppy Jean? Can he visit? Can you visit? This whole by myself thing does not work out so well.

This....is not Dantooine. That aside while this is not where I wished to go, it is where the Force has led me. Considering it's peculiar sense of humor, it does seem I am needed here. Until that changes, it is where I shall stay.

So, do allow me to introduce myself. I am Meetra Surik, and I was a Jedi Knight. I shall be offering training in the ways of The Force, and what knowledge I do have about it. While I am unaware if there are other force sensitives here, if there are I shall be happy to teach what I know. Those who do not have the force are also welcome. Meditation is an easy thing to learn, and learning how to shield one's mind is something that may be useful. I will be staying in Tower 2, at room 110.
