[After observing the general chaos.]

It's the one time in my life when a light trench coat is more practical than a black one. And well after labor day. I'm reassured to know this place wasn't the most vivid acid flashback of my life, though.

[Public, after this.]

I feel so much safer now that we're nearly killing drone goons who don't have a say in anything, and whose injuries will only make the mob bosses kill them as a result. What's next? The mob's working girls? I'll sleep so much better at night.

quicklog: ivy & steph

Who: Poison Ivy & Stephanie Nashton
What: Unfriendly chat, probs.
Where: Streets of Gotham.
When: Nowish?
Warnings: TBD.

The night opened up for her like a bewitched gravesite, animation and acclimation. The dead were rising from between cracks in the asphalt, spindle pricks of magic opened the eyes of night-blooming jasmine. Green stretched, and flower buds yawned with stamin tongues exposed, petals ruffled like hair after a long night spent in the wrong bed. Pamela Isley walked down a Gotham sidewalk, and Earth held the hand of its mother through every street. The greenery was small, nothing monumental or destructive. A few blades of grass rising out of a gutter, a vine creeping up the brickwall of a dive as she walked past. The open door played Son of a Preacher Man from some jukebox, and the bouncer did a double-take when the woman in form-fitting black and green stalked by. Moments later and the street was alive with another kind of life, whispers and speculation in the street: Was that Poison Ivy? Was she back again?

siren/ivy

[It was wonderful how the mood changed the moment Siren walked to the Greenhouse gates. Birds chirped, insects flickered and there was so much green. Before, in her life of piggies and working hard for nothing, Siren never took a second to appreciate the gentle touch of leaves against her skin. She never took a moment to say hello to wandering grasshoppers. Life now was so rich and full of life. When she was in the sewers, she could smell grass and lovely even if it was just the chemicals playing a trick on her. But, here. Here it was real even she knew that.

Draped in red she found on a dead rich woman's body, Siren moved as quietly as one could while dragging a half-alive man. Through the man's chest was a giant meat hook and Siren held the chain as she pulled his surprisingly light (some rich men were so small) body through the glades and green and mists.]

Hello, I've arrived for our garden party! [Siren called brightly out into the trees, up towards the fading glass walls of the greenhouse.] I hope your plants like my present. [The man gave out a gurgling scream, which she shushed accordingly. Chidingly to the dying man:] Don't want to upset the daisies.

[As Pamela I]

The greenhouse is looking a little sparse after my absence.

Please don't tell me there's people with sticky fingers wandering around.
