[Late Wednesday night, a body of a man in his late thirties is found in one of the city's parks. Though there were no witnesses to the crime, several people have come forward with stories about an angel there that night. Wings, they said, and though these sort of statements would normally be written off as exaggerations, the number of reports has the police taking greater notice. No further information has been released to the public, and identification of the victim is being withheld pending notification of family.]

[She's made breakfast for TJ and gotten him to school, because everything seems to be (mostly) the same. Everything other than the journal. She goes to work and tries to put it out of her mind until her lunch break, when she reads through the pages of the book as she eats the soup and half a sandwich from the hospital cafeteria.

And even though she hasn't spoken to him in seven years, she remembers the day she left. And so...]
