This really fucking sucks. Natasha can't leave and I don't know what Steve's thinking, but... my family's there. I've already spent so long prioritising other things over them, between Tony and Thanos I've missed most of the boys' lives, I can't miss the rest too. Especially if there's a chance this is some kind of fucked up Schrodinger's cat situation where no one knows we're missing because quantum physics means we both are and aren't and choosing whether to go back means opening the box and finding out. If there's any chance that I'm going to disappear there then I don't have any real choice, I'm not letting Sarah go through that again.

I don't know what will happen... if we'll remember being here or not. And I know you have reasons to prefer it here, it's not like home is exactly a utopia right now, so if you want to stay, well, I won't try to talk you out of it. But obviously I want you with me. Even if we forget everything I have to believe we'd find our way back to each other. The potential was already there. Fuck, worst case we never figure it out, or we do but we're both too idiotic to make a move, but at least you're still my best friend. I don't really see that though, I just don't. This feels too much like it was inevitable. I feel like I've been waiting for you and everything I've done since I joined the Air Force was pulling us together. I love you. If we forget being here I still will, I just won't know it yet. And if you come with me we'll just have to remind each other.

Okay, soooooo, feel free to be all "Oh you sweet summer child" at me because I'm still totally new at this, but besides all the movies and TV series and stuff we can obviously torrent easily... how do y'all pay for everything when you get to these places?

Like do you use powers to conjure money? And if you do, who gets how much? Is it free reign or one person keeps their hands on it and distributes for whatever you might need?

Please know I make exactly zero guarantees, but if anyone would like to try something, I may have a solution to the flashes of memories from other worlds. Keyword being may. It's not comfortable, it's a spiky patch that goes on the back of the neck, but if this interference is psychic in nature it should do the trick.

Generally not a good idea to wear long term, but we're all resetting in a few days so I'm sure it's fine to wear the rest of the week.

Morning everyone. Gotta say, I have not been this excited for a reset in ages. We've still got 18ish hours here though so I'd really like to do another airdrop of supplies for the locals if anyone was keeping anything back waiting to see if they needed it. Remember things you came with like spare ammo reset with you as well.

Tomorrow's another void week so hopefully we'll be back to our normal looking Derleth with the full Green and power and running water. Try not to hog the showers too much or Captain America will be very disappointed in you.

Is everyone back okay?

Good morning Derleth and welcome to an exciting new week. So far we have determined that we have:

• No power
• No running water
• No food
• No medical supplies

Signs are that there has been some fighting, but hard to say yet if that was the main cause of the situation or a consequence in the aftermath of whatever went down. A lot of us have done this dance before but for anyone who's newer, standard guidelines for a hostile environment - don't go out alone/without telling anyone, advise everyone of any useful information or resources you find, and food and medicine go a lot further when they're handled centrally. If you think you need a weapon or if you have extra you can loan out let us know.

We'll probably want to make bandages from any spare linens we've got around and dig latrines a bit away from the buildings. We can collect limited clean water from toilet tanks if someone hasn't thought of that already, otherwise we need to find a source and set up a means of filtration. If you find large sheets of paper and things to draw with get them to the cafeteria, between scouts and arty types we can try to come up with a map of the area so we know where's good and where to avoid.

Another note for newer people: if you look at the icons on your screen there should be one that links to the skills list. It looks like it might need updating, so if you want to add yourself anywhere leave a comment for Nat.

Last thing for now, if your roommate is one of the ones who didn't come back from the ball please confirm they're safe.

I promise, neither of you can possibly judge me harder than I'm judging myself right now. I was planning to get rid of that thing when I went back to my room, but when I picked it up... I'm not sure what happened but I tasted a few of the crumbs. You know, like absently cleaning up a plate when you've done eating but you're still in the middle of a conversation so you haven't taken the dishes away yet. And then I couldn't really stop myself from finishing it.

Anyway, now I'm apparently afflicted with complete honesty, so I give it nine chances out of ten that this is going to be a complete disaster.

So. I remember a life in Empire City, and another life altogether. Is there somebody who will explain all this to me?

Steve was well out of breath as he jogged down the hall to the apartment number that matched the address on his white-knuckled phone. He’d made the trip sooner than ten minutes, but not much even though there was a bus that carried him half the way.

It had just been long enough for him to catch his breath and groan softly to himself, more memories threading themselves together as he read and reread the earlier list of words. The mention of dust was still making him nauseous, and as he’d scrambled over he’d eventually fixated on the notion that it still couldn’t all be true. He was remembering Bucky and Sam, dead. Gone.

Finding the door Steve nearly tripped, throwing out his fist and hitting against the door urgently, hissing in pain but not letting up as his hand felt like it exploded.

“Barnes!” he yelled, then swore under his breath as he remembered the last part, and grabbed the knob, simply shoving it open and entering quickly, just as disheveled and panicked as he’d looked when he’d been running away from the other, earlier that week. “It’s Steve!”

I dreamed about you last night. Very much a first for me.

Having a weird week already. Strange app appears on my phone, posts about suddenly having different magic, odd little comments about people not remembering things, guy I could have sworn I made up telling a completely mundane lie about getting patched up after a bike crash I definitely didn't attend. I've heard a lot of Louisiana juju but nothing that makes this make sense. Reincarnation, walk-ins, time travel. I'm pretty sure there's a tv show that combines all three.

So I'm thinking how about this time you tell me a story that's less plausible sounding and see how that goes.

It was an adjustment, having two sets of memories and a whole new city to live in. Bucky had gotten used to the chaos of Derleth, and the quiet. But after months of finding themselves in new worlds and different realities, he understood the longing for some stability.

It seemed the experiment had worked. It remained to be seen if this was a stable new timeline they were in, or something for them all to settle into.

He had an apartment. He had a job. He even had a motorcycle, which he supposed was for fun, since his work was well within walking distance of the apartment. There was even a decent coffee shop on the way.

That was where he'd glimpsed the short stature of Steve Rogers before. He'd looked, and by the time he'd done a double-take, the figure had been gone. Probably just a trick of his mind, he'd thought, but after the conversation with Kovacs, he wasn't so certain. Going back to the coffee shop after work had seemed like the logical thing to do, and somehow, it worked.

Bucky had just gotten his drink when he glanced out the shop windows and saw him again. This time, he knew it was no trick. That was Steven Grant Rogers. He looked healthier than he had in the 1930s, but the short, lean statue was otherwise the same.

Bucky hurried out of the shop. "Steve!" he called out. "Hey, Steve!"

It's the perfect night to gorge yourself with Chinese food.

To celebrate the last day I think I'm going to dump most of my stuff in a box in the valley and take my lion out to find some of those red glowing dinosaurs and see if we can kill any. This should be entertaining. Just debating whether or not to bring the Cap armor. It's a hell of a lot harder to bite through, but it would mean I'd have to go hunt down my body to get it back afterwards and that seems... extremely not worth it.
