In all honesty, I'm going to miss last week like something fierce. Having whole audiences in the taverns every evening because I somehow happened to have the skill and inspiration enough to write whole songs on the whim and actually have a noteworthy singing voice?

Damn all of that was hella addictive.

Speaking of addictive, so happy I ended up with a decanter of endless coffee. Call me jittery for life.

I know we're all prepping to go on an adventure with our new bodies and powers, but let's talk gatherings and parties while it's still quiet in my head.

The other Derleth was - hurting and fractured, and I'm not keen on seeing us go that route. During quiet weeks, we should probably go out of our way to gather at least once a week.

One | I think Hugh is interested in using the theater to its fullest.
Two | Our resident angel probably wants to go the gourmet route.
Three | I liked our board game night. Is that something we want to repeat?
Four | Fashion runway. We walk the catwalk in our best new clothes.

I could tell you all this last night because I'd been turned into a bloody rabbit, but I was able to enchant Michael long enough to read his mind. He was using us as an experiment for a Hel-like neighborhood. He's building a hell for people who go to "The Bad Place."

If anyone wants to go, I'm heading out to see what I can find. If you need supplies or anything from other buildings, let me know so I can do those first.

When the Almighty led the Israelites out the Egypt, they were fed mana, which appeared like the morning dew and was collected for the day. It didn't take long before everybody started grumbling about eating only one thing all the time.

I think you know what I'm getting at.

Even the Almighty changed up the diet with quail for some variety. Even so, I don't think I could touch quail ever again.

How does everybody feel about having a banquet where we share one another's meals? I have some delectable crepes with whipped cream and fresh strawberries.

Was that really me last week? It feels like a dream. Or at least how I imagine a dream would be, that is if I slept. More of a nightmare, though. Is that what being a demon is like, I wonder? That was positively ghastly.

I absolutely ADORE my clothes! The fabric, the cut of the sleeves, the lace. The shoes! Oh, how I've missed wearing heels! I always thought I looked wonderful in heels. I was sad when this look went out of style for men. I even have a wig!

I must admit, it has taken me more than a few days to adjust to finding myself here, which I am certain is a common thread among most everyone that has arrived, yes?

Anyways, I am finding myself a bit restless at the moment. Suggestions of how to pass the time? I have seen some inquire about sparring partners, which I would be interested in, though I'm not sure I am equipped to spar with anyone that doesn't have some sort of advanced strength.

We need to figure out where to regroup, somewhere safe. I may not have my powers, but I didn't have them before I got here either, so there's hope. We can turn this around.

Ideas on where to meet? We need a place with a fallout shelter if possible (Some people can't or won't fight, they need a safe place). Good thing we're in the 1950s, huh? But we need to be able to have lookouts without it being obvious.

All right. When I fell asleep, I did not expect to wake up in an unfamiliar place. I don't have enough time or patience to have a crisis because of this. The paper airplane contraption does seem an annoying way to go about things, but given it is likely the only way to get anyone to notice it, I suppose I can't judge more than that.

I am so sorry I could not be there to greet you myself, but I trust you'll find your way around soon enough. Most of the students have not yet arrived for the new semester and so I've arranged for [your?] lodging on campus. You'll find a key in your pocket. Just like old times, eh?

Should the experiment go as planned, for one week we will be able to displace time and space itself. I believe with my calculations we will be able to control the effects and no one shall be the wiser. To anyone not directly involved it will be imperceptible.
