As it turns out, flying with wings is much more delightful than flying by dangling from a friend's magic broom. I only threw up the first time out with the wings! I think I'll miss them most of all next week.

So there's a magic tattoo parlor in Kitchen Sink. Normally, tattoos would be a waste of time because of the reset, right? Except the way they work here is an enchanted needle. The needle contains the ink and creates the tattoo, you just have to attune to it and keep the needle.
If you haven't come across any magic items yet, attunement is basically a process where you meditate with the item for about an hour and the magic item bonds to you. Most items anyone can attune to, no magical talent required. So with the reset, you'll probably have to re-bond with any magic items you want to use at the start of each week, but seems like a small inconvenience.
Also? Magic tattoos apparently fully heal once they apply so no awkward itching stage. They're expensive, but if you've managed to get the money, there are some pretty cool options. You should check it out.

Me and Matt are back and, wow, THAT was a fuckin' adventure. We met some undead, fought them but then didn't fight them, heard their sob story, they turned on the shady merchant who screwed them, and now he's uh - indisposed. Which means we took his shit. Like a cart full of jewels and shiny stuff - we don't need all of it so if anyone wants anything, come go through it and take some. Could be handy if we're ever someplace where we need to barter for items or pawn gems for cash.
Also I'm still a fucking bunny. Someone scratch me behind my ears.

Some of what we found might be useful to other people but not us. Maybe we could find somewhere people can show what they don't need to make it easier to trade things. That way everyone doesn't have to list everything or figure out themselves what it is. Some of what I found is magic and some seems like it's just trinkets or little games.

Everyone okay? No one else is a horse and might need assistance with [...] everything?
Also maybe watch your step when you open the door to your room this morning. There are ladders but most of the doors aren't on ground level. Besides Butler, though, the rest of the campus looks more or less the same. I'm walking the campus and making sure.
I don't suppose anyone recognizes where we are?
ETA So the bathroom situation is not optimal but at least there's running water?

Secondly, if you're in good shape, I need help moving things around so we have places to rest tonight. I know it's not what we want to be dealing with, but it'll be dark before we know it. If you're willing and able, I will take all the help I can get.
First objective is to account for our people, get them to medical if need be. Second is to salvage what we can and make space in the classrooms.

GOOD DERLETH: Some of you are going to need to sing to sell the event, even if that might mean revealing something emotionally about yourself. Who's willing to step up?
BAD DERLETH: Who's going to show? Who's willing to sing? Anyone going to catch on as to the nature of the karaoke machine or does the alcohol, food and atmosphere of the party make that difficult to discover? Is this the night Bad Derleth tips its hand?
ABOUT THE KARAOKE MACHINE: it is mildly cursed. People who were around week eleven will remember it as that time they broke into song about their feelings. Eliot has rigged up the machine so you'll only sing if you step onto the stage, but your character doesn't get to pick their song. Just like last time, Eliot is branding it as Karaoke Roulettebut he may also be trying to get a feel for where the other Derleth residents are at emotionally and if there are any potential issues folks need to be aware of. Hm? What? Isn't karaoke fun?
ABOUT THE FOOD: thanks to a handful of volunteers, there is a delicious menu of real food put out in welcome for the Other Derleth. If the sound of the music from the party doesn't draw them in, maybe the food will.
ABOUT THE BAR: and if the food and the music don't work, there's always the alcohol. Eliot came up with a drink menu, using what they have, and recruited Mobius to be the bar tender for the night. That puts him in a good position to keep a look out along with other perfectly innocent party goers that are totally not just using this as an excuse to keep an eye on the residents of the other Derleth.

Some scavengers attacked while we were at the ship graveyard. We managed to stop them for a bit, but most of them got away. However, they ditched their captain, left him behind. Which he was really proud of them for, and really angry.

Yes! Anyway! Thanks to the considerate and quick-thinking response of your resident robotic healthcare professional, I have been made aware of the current crisis. So given everything that's happened I guess I should share what I know about the network.

- Months ago, the first time we visited an alternate timeline, I learned the version of me there basically created the network.
I could mention Tilly but let's keep this short and sweet.I was ambitious, and I had a few potential government contracts lined up for an unhackable network.
- In order to make the network unhackable, I laced magic in the coding. I don't remember the spell, I can remember some details about the book, but that book isn't here. To test it, I opened it up as a beta to Derleth students and faculty. I challenged people to try to hack it, try to break into other people's messages, my messages, whatever.
- It worked. But I think the magic she/I used is also what's bringing us here, why the same people show back up again even when they disappear. If you're here, a version of you was also on that Derleth and signed up for the beta. Michael appeared to confirm this last week.

In the next hour, I'll be venturing outside of our shelter for a search party. There is the possibility that citizens from my home world arrived this evening and I want to ensure that this is either proven to be false or that they are found before the elements take over.

Welcome to Derleth.
I am so sorry I could not be there to greet you myself, but I trust you'll find your way around soon enough. Most of the students have not yet arrived for the new semester and so I've arranged for [your?] lodging on campus. You'll find a key in your pocket. Just like old times, eh?
Should the experiment go as planned, for one week we will be able to displace time and space itself. I believe with my calculations we will be able to control the effects and no one shall be the wiser. To anyone not directly involved it will be imperceptible.
