I'm a little bit lost here. I woke up wearing a lot of flannel, and armed to the teeth (which are not pointy).

This is out of my wheelhouse. Anyone have like... interstellar coordinates they need plotted or something? I feel useless and confused,two of my least favorite emotions.

So.

I know a giant murderous marshmallow of a robot just tried to re-insert us all into the program.

I also know that anyone claiming to have a solution to the whole "getting stuck in the program" thing is highly suspicious, especially if it's someone you don't remember from before.

With all that in mind, hi. I have a (theoretical) way to get back into the program and out again, and I need people with the appropriate ports and mental stability to experiment um... experiment on. I'm trying to make it safe as possible...

If you're interested, please let me know. I know we lost some people today and I want to help get them back. Also if any of you happen to be engineers, physicists or other types of inventors, I've got the schematics for the prototype chair that I'm about 90% sure will work.

Personal Log of Ensign Sylvia Tilly, Stardate: Uhhhhh.

This is the worst transporter malfunction ever. I was supposed to be beaming down with Saru, and suddenly I was in a little island village full of anthropomorphic animals, which isn't all that bad I guess but it very clearly wasn't real.

Then I woke up in a pod of goo, which was gross enough on its own, but then I got flushed down a sewer system and some very nice people gave me clothes and some food. Now I'm here, dictating this rambling log entry so that if I forget or die or whatever, there's some record of what happened to me.

According to what little I've picked up from the people that rescued me- there's evil robots doing... something with people that sounds pretty nasty. There are still a lot of humans trapped somewhere and once I'm feeling a little stronger, I'm going to figure out a way to help.

I am so sorry I could not be there to greet you myself, but I trust you'll find your way around soon enough. Most of the students have not yet arrived for the new semester and so I've arranged for [your?] lodging on campus. You'll find a key in your pocket. Just like old times, eh?

Should the experiment go as planned, for one week we will be able to displace time and space itself. I believe with my calculations we will be able to control the effects and no one shall be the wiser. To anyone not directly involved it will be imperceptible.

Feel free to wander the campus in the meantime. We'll begin the experiment at [muffled] Hall, on Thursday, precisely at midnight.
